I just made one and I am in love!!! It's so adorable! I have trouble sewing but your tutorial is really good, my wings look nice! Thank you for this tutorial 💖
Aww this makes me sooo happy! I'm so glad that your bee came out great and that you liked the tutorial! Thank you so so much or following along :)
All the other tutorials was hard but this one was easy
I have loved and admired your bees for a while, thank you so much for making this tutorial!
That's so sweet! I really hope you enjoy the tutorial :)
I love how your tutorials are soo easy to follow, I was able to make this bee with no problems!
Yay I'm so glad! Thank you so much for following my tutorial :)
Thank tou for giving us the tutorial. I really wanted to make this for my cousin on her birthday.
I used 6mm hook and it worked just as well! I seriously suggest having a light source when youre skipping the stich in the color changes, i accidentally skipped 2 stitches instead of 1 so it kinda shrunk midway 😭 but the pattern is correct, highly suggested to begginers and above!
This video was so easy to understand as a beginner! Thank you so much for making this 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! It helped me so much and this was the first successful plush I have made and I love it! I tried other peoples tutorials but they either went to fast or did not explain it properly, so I’m so great full for this😊👍❤️
I REALLY wanna know how to make one of your axolotls. Could you please make a tutorial on that? Thank you
Hi! I don’t have a tutorial on the axolotl but you can buy the pattern here :) themaryjay.patternbyetsy.com/listing/1108023742/rainbow-axolotl-pattern-digital-pdf
@@themaryjay
Couldn’t you please do it I really wanna do it 🤗
@@keigiKeigo I will but it will take a while since my tutorials take a really long time to make with the voiceover step by step and the axolotl takes way longer to make than all the plushies I have tutorials for so far
@@themaryjayomg I can’t believe you actually replied you are my biggest model and you’re even the reason why I’ve even started crocheting 🧶 I’ve especially loved the 24 hour crochet but anyways ok Mary jay I understand! Hope to see it out soon! 🔜 bye btw I’m 12 ❤️
Keigi Teaches please don’t share personal information
I had black and yellow yarn just sitting there so i looked up tutorials and this was the first one i saw. I am almost finished with my bee, I just need to find some white and pink yarn and some eye's, and poly fill? then I can get back to it after pay day. Wonderful tutorial, Thank You.
❤I know the pay day story. I am sure it turned out perfect.
Thank you so much for your awesome tutorial. I've been trying to master the magic circle forever and your explanation made it so easy. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Hi Mary, thanks for the tutorial.
Sorry about any random comments you might see from me. I commented on someone else's video but it ended up here.
hi pls could you make an Axolotl tutorial? I would love to try it! Thank you so much for making ACTUAL beginner tutorials. They have really helped me 🙂
I LOVE your chanell. Also, your tutorials are so easy to follow, and your voice is VERY calming. The way you explain the steps is amazing and very clear. Thank you for your tutorials. Keep going! ❤❤❤❤
So I got some crochet stuff for Christmas and I’ve been watching a ton of YT videos trying to learn bud I have to say NONE of them are as clear and instructive as you are 🥹💚
Aww that's the biggest compliment ever! I'm so glad that you think so :)
I think this tutorial made it super easy to crochet this bee! ❤ thank you for sharing!
You are amazing. I tried to learn how to crochet like a year ago. I really wanted to make some plushys. I got super frustrated and gave up. I couldn't do anything. Not even a simple pad or smth. Now I really wanted to try again and searched for beginner tutorials and I found you. You gave me so much hope, because I was actually making progress.
And now I have a cute little plushy bee! He's a bit shabby, but I love him! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I really hope you'll be able to make more of this kind.
Took me like 3 hrs to make the bee btw, haha
This is my first bee, I looked at other tutorials, but they were too hard. Thank you!
You are an amazing person. I made few plushies from watching your tutorials and it turned out so beautiful. Do upload more ❤
Aww this is so sweet! I'm so glad that you like my tutorials! I'm working on my next one :) I'm sorry it's taking so long!
Thank you, I was thinking of selling stuff and crochet was my first idea, this will make me about 15 per bee
I just did my first crochet plushie and overall project AND THIS WAS SO HELPFUL and it came out so cute thank youuu ❤
Well I didn’t name my bee but I made a different coloured bee. I made a strawberry bee! And it turned out so beautiful
I love your tutorial. I've used it to make a pink bee and a mouse, I just used the wings as ears instead:)
This was amazing!!! The video was clear and easy to follow. I was able to create a bee 🐝 so cool!! I can’t wait to make more. Thank you for making this video. My first crochet stuffed animal and my kids love them.

I have loved your bees soo much I will definately be making one of these!!!
Awww! That means alot! I hope you like the tutorial!
It is amazing I made it and its my favourite creation so far!
This looks so easy I’ll try to make it once I get the supplies 😅
Did it! Ty ❤😊
I used some different stuff. Instead of safety eyes, i used yarn, and instead of stuffing i used some cotton. Instead of stitch markers paperclips. If you dont have all the supplies at home... replace them with something similar!❤❤❤
Oh my God😮I’m super super happy to find your channel ❤❤❤thank you so much for sharing your talents
i had so much fun making this and it was really easy to follow the steps tysm!
Awesome, in depth tutorial, thanks so much!!
If it’s hard for beginners to make the magic circle start with a slipknot chain 2 And add seven single crochets in the second chain from the hook
That bee 🐝 is simply super cute love love love it so much thank you sooooo much for sharing this video with us all I am a beginner and I really want to try making such cute plushies. Lots of love from India Mumbai 😍

Aww Thank you! 😊
Once I wake up in the morning (or afternoon, you never know with me lol) Imma go pester my grandma to see if she can lend me crochet stuff lol I wanna make some bees for me friends :>
Awesome tutorial…thank you
Hi I’m currently ten and making this for my best friends birthday I have a 6mm hook so how many stitches should I do
OMG IT SOOOO CUTTTEEEEE!!! TYYY FOR THE TUTORIAL!!!!!!
You helped me so much thank youuuuuuu❤️❤️❤️
Tip for y’all, I place my stitch marker on the first stitch of the round so that I know when I need to do the next round’s instructions. The first stitch in that stitch you need to attach to after round 1- the one where you made 7 single crochets in the magic circle.
After I crocheted my magic circle the circle went kind of pointy and weird 😢 pls help I don’t know why but it is like a cone shape!
I am a beginner so I don’t know much about crochet
If you get a pointy in your magic circle then what you do is leave it and the point will go away either when you crochet a couple more rounds or when you stuff it ❤❤
thank you ♥can you do more tutorials please
I loved it so much I love your vids too! ❤
So I’m following this tutorial and everything is going really well so far! It’s actually looking like what it should but the only issue is that I’ve got all these loose bit of yarn hanging out from where i tied the different colours together. Am I fine to cut these off without affecting the piece/unraveling? I’m realising their probably meant to be on the inside to be hidden but most of mine are on the outside cause I’m left handed and I’m reversing your steps
You can cut it shorter, but I wouldn't cut all of it off just because it could lead to it unravelling later. If it's on the outside, try pulling the yarn strands through to the other side with a needle. I'm not too sure what your piece looks like but you can usually also flip the piece inside out if you haven't started stuffing yet :)
i love your bees there so cute
I love your videos! Please do a turtle tutorial pls
Thank you for the tutorial!! How do I make a bigger bee?
I’m gonna try do this Ty !
CUTE!!!
Thank you!!!
@@themaryjay definitely gonna try to crochet a little mini bee!

Could you do an axolotl tutorial? I want to do it so bad but I dont know how lol
Heya! I've tried to do this but my stitches keep decreasing each round and i'm not sure why, any help would be much appreciated!🥰
My cirle disappeares quickly, can you tell me how to fix that?
Can you make a deer plush with lots of pink blush plsss :
What if I want to make the bee in bigger size, what need I need to do? Thanks
Could you make a sheep plush with a fat body and no legs
Hi!! I really want to crochet this bee, but I can't close the magic circle with chenille yarn. It works with other ones but it is not working. I tried to make my stitches loser but its not working.
Can you please type down the type and size of yarn???
Im curious why 7 in the mc instead of 6? Ive never seen a pattern using a circle that uses 7 i dont think.
it's a matter of preference. I prefer the flatter look it gives with 7 and the size of the bee that I get in the end.
@@themaryjay ah ok. I didnt realize it made it flatter Thanks!
Can u plsssss do a penguin tutoriall ❤❤❤❤
I have been crying and have gotten headaches trying to just get to the second step I can’t figure out how to make chains and things like that on a magic circle 😭
I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING WRONG!! I get to the very end near 3 minutes and I cannot pull the yarn tail to make it tight! What am I doing wrong? 😭 Someone please help 😢
Are there any alternatives for the eyes I don't have any at the moment 😅
i put buttons
For the marker, can we use a bobby pin if we don’t have one
Yes! Just anything that stays in place. Lots of alternatives to the stitch marker :)
@@themaryjay Thank you
I have the same fluffy yarn, but it’s a little bit smaller, will it work or will it leave gaps?
Not an expert, but if your yarn is smaller you should use a smaller hook. I’d start with following the recommended hook on the yarn packaging and doing a test square to see if you like the tightness, and going up or down a size based on that
The project will end up smaller than the one in the video, just keep that in mind (I might practice this with some basic acrylic yarn I’m trying to use up so mine will be tiny lol)
Is is possible I could make this with a slightly smaller chunky yarn and 6 mm safety eyes?
I personally haven’t tried it but I definitely think you can! Just make sure to adjust your hook size accordingly!
Hi, I just wanted to ask, do you have to add extra rounds if you're using worsted yarn?
Hi! You dont have to if you dont want to, but the bee will be really small. And if you want your bee to be a little longer, I would recommend maybe adding an extra row of yellow between stripes and/or before and after the first and last stripe.
@@themaryjay Thank you so much! My bee turned out great. Your tutorials are amazing.
Can you make me a little axolotl pleaseeeee
What yarn do you use?
I am too broke to buy beads for the eyes can I sow them on or do I have to buy them?
Yes! :)
When I am redy to p Pull the tail it won't round
Didn’t work
Then u did something wrong cuz I used one of her tutorials and my plushy came out perfectly
Same it came out perfectly just try ur best👍
I did the seven single crochets in the magic ring but then my magic ring won’t tighten when pulling the tail end… it just broke. Any ideas why that might be?
In all transparency, I’m not 100% sure why it happens. But it does happen to me sometimes (more so when I first started crocheting than now). I think sometimes it’s just the way the yarn is if you’re using the blanket yarn and sometimes it breaks. I had a skein that kept doing that earlier last week. It’s frustrating but sometimes you just have to try again. If it’s just not closing, it may be a issue with the circle. Does your magic circle close and open before you add the stitches? If so, are you working the single crochets over the yarn tail as well (over both strands of yarn)? If you didn’t work over both strands of yarn, that may be why it won’t close after the stitches are added. Sometimes it may just be too tight, so watch your tension. If all else fails, you can use the yarn tail to sew closed the circle after you get further into the piece.
Get acrylic yarn and make your magic circle with it. Put the stitches into the magic circle with your blanket yarn.
Acrylic yarn is very unlikely to snap so it is good to do magic circles with it.
Where do you buy your yarn?:)
What size eyes?
14:20 just a bookmark!
