- DASEIN -- A MOVIE ABOUT THE CONNECTION BETWEEN EVERYDAY LIFE AND FREEDOM
Innsbruck, 24th of November 2013 -- Dasein, which translates to "Being There" in English, is the new film from Stefan Häusl and Björn Heregger that has already excited the freeride scene. After successful premiers at the Mountain Film Festival in St. Anton in Arlberg and the international Freeski Film Festival iF3 the new movie is now on tour with the Freeride Film Festival. Besides roaring freeride action and technical skiing from the two protagonists Stefan Häusl and Björn Hereggeer, Dasein brings an intriguing aspect to the table. It centres around the question of survival, of being there for each other on the mountain while at the same time being there for friends and family at home. The film project Dasein, which is supported by KJUS, Salewa and Uvex, portrays the everyday "normal" life of two extreme skiers with beautiful and moving imagery.

I totally agree, this is the best ski movie by far that I've ever seen. The quality of image is stunning, masterful. Coupled with a very profoundly human and deeply abiding message of love and friendship lived in responsibility and respect of both nature and most importantly friends and family make this film noble. I can't help but think that the image of the crucifix on the wall is the heart of it all.

Seit bestimmt 6 Jahren schau ich den Film immer wieder, dabei verliert er einfach nicht an Qualität. Ich kann manche Sätze mitsprechen. Er hat mich oft motiviert, inspiriert einfach sehr glücklich gemacht. Dafür bin euch sehr Dankbar !

Herrlich dort. Meine Kindheit war dort bis 59. Jetzt bin ich in Australien und ueberlass das der Jugend. Allein das machen ist grosses Risiko. Ich hab Einiges auch so gemacht doch hatte oft auch Glueck! Danke

Danke für dieses klasse Video. Sehr schöne Aufnahmen. Man spürt Eure Verbundenheit mit diesem Sport und das Lebensgefühl, welches Skifahren vermittelt. Wir sind oft im Montanfon und werden im Februar für eine Woche in St. Anton sein. Euer Video hat zeigt den Arlberg aus einer unglaublichen Perspektive. Ich wünsche Euch weiterhin viel Glück.

Der Track heißt "not available" von dem Russischen Künstler "Ганджу". Ich habe den Song auch eeeeeewig gesucht und shazam hat ihn am ende gefunden:D

Schönes Video. Vor allem die Teleobjektivaufnahmen finde ich klasse. Macht Laune und sieht nach harter Aufstiegsarbeit aus. Vielleicht z.T. etwas viel Risiko, aber "on air" ist das manchmal schwer abzustellen und sieht natürlich super aus ;)
Ich hoffe bis mindestens 50 haltet ihr das Niveau :D

Hey Jungs ! Fantastischer movie ! Bei mir gohört ski fahren auch zum Alltag und Ich bin immer mit meinen besten freund berg unterwegs.
Leider wohnen und Skiern wir in Sudeten (Polen) wo es jetzt immer noch kein Schnee gibt. Darum möchten wir Zusammen eueren Ski Gebiet Besuchen.
Wenn ist die Beste Zeit wenn euere ski gebiete wie st Anton ski Fahrer mit frischen powder verliehen ? Und wo genau im st Anton is es am besten für off piste zu kommen?
Ich hoffe Ihr findet zeit mir zu antworten.

Es gibt keinen Arlberg. Das ist lediglich der Name einer Region. Du meinst wahrscheinlich die Valluga oder einen anderen Berg in der Nähe

i ski from my 3 years old, i went in the racing team slalom from my 6 years old untill my 14 years old, both my parents were ski teachers well , my steph dad and my mom , not my dad and i loved doing it , everyday after school i went indoor and went skiing, and every year i go skiing in Pila in Italy , but i LOVE to do that everyday, just the feeling of skiing again everyday , it's a moment where i forget everything, and just ski it all out, on the pist also off piste like here, and i love to take risks, it's just how skiing goes , but i allready thought of living in switzerland or austria but a ski teacher doesn't earn that much , but what else can i do there? can someone help me make my wish come true and help me with this! :) (i live in Belgium)
