Share the wisdom brother! I had the honor to come up with some of the baddest musicians who could not afford a name brand axe. But they made the no name brand axe they had talk until they could afford better:) These musicians were always in demand for sessions, and they used that they had and could afford. Taught me a valuable lesson, use what you have and make it work, tone is in the hands and the heart.
We all love you back Johnny! God bless you and the Queen. Thanks for putting out positive and informative and fun videos. I used to live in Newport News / Hampton until 2004 (16 years) 😀
I'm new sub and the riffs you do while demonstrating' I'm trying to learn. At 60 I'm a couple of years learning but can play I few songs now. Still trying to slap (you're nice with it) and more importantly, read. You have an inspiring, informative and entertaining channel. Thank you.
I've got an inexpensive Harley Benton, that I have already modified. And plan on modifying it, still. So, I've no problems with that. Though the neck feels a bit chunky and has more of a dive, compared to my newer Cort GB35JJ, that I have bought almost a year ago. You can definitely feel the difference. But you do make a point. If the bass plays and feels great, it doesn't matter it was a cheap and a no-name instrument. :)
Let's collaborate musically! Will you lay down a bass line a Jedi Jingle Maker Track? I make all kinds of music from funk to metal and everything in between including classical.

Real Talk.
Brother Long, every bass you pick up sounds like you.

I put a ToneMonster PTE in my Peavey Millennium per your demo in another video, I LIKE it! Thanks for the video!
Man, you are the sharpest dressed bass player on youtube. Awesome playing too!

Tumi the bass has a crispy sound like if you were to break a chip the notes don't miss even in low tone I like it that base is distinguish itself
Is that some of those tuned wind chimes in the background ? Beautiful! I know it’s not an ice cream truck. SOUND WISDOM. DONT GET CAUGHT UP IN NAMES.
Never let junk STOP YOUR FUNK.
So it's ok that I bought the Sawtooth EP series P bass because I loved the Surf green color?
Yeap.........

Good advice. Find a bass that gets the job done. That's the best bass you have; up there with that Russian P-Bass!
