Best way to learn metric is by knowing 64ths in imperial. .3 m is 1/64th, .7m is 1/32nd,1.1m is 3/64ths, 1.5m is 1/16th,1.9m is 5/64th, 2.3m is 3/32nd etc
i noticed a lot of the older carpenters don't know that after 7/16ths, there is 29/64ths,15/32nds,and 31/64ths then 1/2 inch.its always good to know especially those guys that tell you they have been using a tape measure for 40 years yet they don't know much.
