The Tragic Reality of Extra-Judicial Killings in Pakistan:
In recent times, it seems that the extrajudicial killing of individuals accused of blasphemy has become a grim, national tragedy in Pakistan. The ease with which accusations lead to public lynching paints a disturbing picture, as if the thirst for blood has overtaken reason and law. Accusations alone, often based on rumors, are enough to seal a person's fate before they ever see the inside of a courtroom. The state’s legal processes are sidelined, and yet, paradoxically, we criticize the judiciary for not taking appropriate action. But how can justice be served when the accused are brutally murdered before ever facing trial?
The fear is palpable in our society. Any dissent or criticism against these extrajudicial killings is met with the very real threat of becoming the next target. It takes only a rumor to destroy not just lives, but entire families, as accusations of blasphemy carry the weight of life and death in the public eye.
This culture of violence overshadows the legal framework in place. Pakistan’s Penal Code, particularly Section 295-C, provides for the prosecution and punishment of blasphemy within the bounds of law. Yet, vigilantes continue to bypass the legal system entirely, taking matters into their own hands.
As Muslims, we claim to follow the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, but where in these divine sources are we given the right to take the law into our own hands? Where do they endorse murder without due process? The prominent scholars (Ulama) of Pakistan have made it clear: it is only the state that holds the authority to enforce punishment, not individuals.
We must ask ourselves: are we truly upholding the principles of Islam when we resort to such lawlessness, or are we simply succumbing to the chaos of mob rule? It is time to let the law prevail and to stand against these violent, extrajudicial killings for the sake of justice, peace, and humanity.

Apart from difference one thing which I,ll admire about Sahil Adeem is that after him no one has sparked Palestine issue among public like he used to do.
