Football is evolving and big clubs have to evolve with it. Outdated tactics are exposed and beaten on the pitch by young managers with great knowledge of the game and innovative ideas! Look how Alonso disgraced Tuchel over two legs in the bundesliga this season. Poch also have antiquated tactics and Kompany 's Burnley drew with him 2-2 with a red card to Burnley in the first half!!!! Some of you fans just react emotionally & hastily without doing a logical analysis hence you guys don't get it!!

😂😂😂 As a Burnley fan that's a load of waffle. There's ditching your playing style the there's doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result. Kept Trafford in until March when it was clear he didn't suit the style of playing out from the back and got bullied at every set piece. Kept Cullen out the side despite his importance to linking play in transition. We shot ourselves in the foot week after week - why didn't he coach that out of them? Why didn't they improve at all over a 38 game season despite spending over a £100m which should be enough to stay up as we already had a decent squad.
Xabi Alonso: Gets Real Sociodad 2 promoted to Liga 2 in Spain and then leaves at the end of the season for Levekusen as Real Sociodad 2 was relegated. Look at them now.
Vincent Company: Dominated in the Championship and got promoted to the PL. Then leaves the club, potentially for Bayern, once Burnley is relegated. He did what Alonso did but at a higher level and if it works they look like geniuses for hiring him.
And if the experiment fails its fine because Pep, Alonso, and Klopp become available in a years time which is why no big coach wanted to come to Bayern now knowing that and what they did to Nagelsmann (even though that was the old board).

It's a strange one huge gamble but sometimes in football you got to play the cards different to get success. I think it will work only reason Bayern didn't have as much success is because Xabi Alonso smashed it at leverkusen.

What is happening with football, you’ve got Chelsea firing a manager who got to a champions league final, challenged for the league with Tottenham and got Chelsea Europe. And now looking to recruit a manager from the championship. And now Bayern firing a champions league winning manager and a champions league finalists, in addition to a bundesliga with Dortmond getting the sack and they are considering hiring a manager who couldn’t even get out the league. A lot of people in this comment section forget or simply don’t know that MANY teams this summer are looking for coaches and there’s a coaching SHORTAGE.
Who exactly is available & who is actually willing to take on X, Y, & Z projects? Hansi Flick is a sextuple winner but has rejected all offers to prioritize Barcelona. Some coaches like Alonso or the coach from Stuttgart don’t wanna leave their clubs after a great season with them. Or… the release clauses for coaches are too expensive.
