You got this! I think it's very smart that you're planning to take time with steps you aren't as familiar with. It's better to plan extra time than not enough time. If you finish sooner, great! If not, also great!
Try not to get too deep into all the specifics of publishing right away. It's suuuch a rabbit hole and you could spend endless time researching. Writing the book is the biggest step right now, and it looks like you've got a great plan to get that done! You've already made amazing progress.
When you do get into the publishing research phase, though, I highly recommend authors like Bethany Atazadeh. Writers like you and me are lucky, because we have so many authors before us to learn from and avoid making some big mistakes.
I can't wait to see this journey unfold for you! We're going to be holding this book in our hands one day and that's just so cool!

Let’s write a freaking book in 2024! I finish my first draft a few months ago but also study part time so having to catch up on that before I do the big read through and I’m so excited because I miss all my character so much 😩 good luck!!

I also love making goals in the beginning of the year, and having them in months is so much better. I finished my other writing project last week and now I'm thinking of a new story for the year ❤

This I a great idea that you put a writing plan I was always overwhelmed with my ideas of writing a d thinking all the times for the book but now I will put my writing plan as you did, I think it will be helpful. Thank you for inspiration. But I have one question why writers count their words of writing I don't and not confusing counting and I could not do even my publishers ask for, I am free and I will for ever.
I track my word count to help me track my progress :) I don’t count manually, most writing softwares count for you

So I'm new to your videos so forgive me if you've learned this since posting but you should add in critique partners before you send to betas. They will give you more in depth feedback as it's their job's. Whereas betas just give you feedback as to if the story is working from a readers pov.
Hi! Do you have any idea what you want to use when you self-publish? I'm querying now, and if I don't get something by the end of the year, I'll probably self-publish. I've heard the most about Amazon.
hellooo! yes im planning to use amazon & put the book in kindle unlimited. have also seen authors put their books on the barnes n noble website through barnes n noble press so strongly considering that!
