Girl self published author here of ten books and imposter syndrome still shows up for me… but I think that’s a good thing. It says I care. I care about what I put out in the world. With every book I tell myself if I get ONE MESSAGE just one that this book changed someones life it will be worth it and every time.. it’s so much more than one no matter how well the book does on the bestsellers list.. I live for those special messages. Just you wait!!

Great video Brielle! Appreciate the writing tips. I am in the writing phase of a music album. I’ve created many before but videos like yours have been pivotal for my writing process. It’s been good seeing someone go through the writing phase and seeing their ups and downs through the process. I got suggested your video recently and started bing watching ever since so I’m still fairly new.

I feel you about writing camping scene when you aren’t a camper x) one good fantasy book rec for camping is the Shannara Chronicles they spend soooo much time camping if you want to check it out ^^ i felt like it was also a way for the author to really immerse the reader in the different places and it worked for me :))))

For your next Q&A: i would love to know tips on how you've honed your writing skills throughout the drafting process? I've been immersed in the plotting/worldbuilding/brainstorming part of the journey and think I need to devote some energy to actually making sure the writing itself is good enough to tell the story.
