- How to install an upper glovebox in Ford F150's equipped with the cubby. Ford started doing this around 2022.
Tools needed.
Trim tool
T-25 Torx
Flat head Screwdrive
10mm socket
7mm socket
Parts
Glovebox Button

Upper Glovebox
I would go used but if your insist here is a link to the part numbers. You have to buy it all piecemeal and the variations are quite complicated.

Just bought a '24 STX. As much as I'd love to do this, I guaranfreakingtee I'd break at least one tab. Just don't have the stones to try this one.

I can appreciate your efforts and it does look better, but there is no way I would risk snapping a clip or cracking something for a glove box I have never used.

Did you only change the door? Or the whole upper glovebox assembly like the back part? I can’t tell from the video if there was the housing itself behind the door.
I changed the entire housing. The cubby housing doesn’t have the hardware to support the door.
I’m genuinely curious what you want to put in there that a door is necessary? Seems like a whole lot of hassle for a door.
Honestly I don't really care either way. I just had a bunch of request for a "how to" on this subject. It was pretty cheap and easy so I just did it. It does look better I will say.
OCD ALERT!! Good lord, instead of wasting your time adding the glove box, maybe you should spend the time cleaning the truck. Especially if you're going to film something. You could grow plants in the amount of dust and dirt on the dashboard. And then there is the battery. Looks like its kept in a kids sandbox! Geez....
lol. I work in construction. My truck is dirty because I use it. I do clean it and it looks like this after a day or two. Thanks for watching.
@@KurtsRPMGarage It’s the outside of my truck that is always dirty cause I never wash it! I like the inside clean.
