As a patient that wound up with a stoma after my 3rd operation because my appendix Burst and was left for almost a week. Let me tell u that if it is at the first of the lower intertines it would be a great way to loose the foreskin .....if it leaked past the actual stoma it ate the skin to bleeding point in a couple of minutes...had to clean with malox within 2 minutes..

@Cynthia Gildea-Dixon it didn't hurt enough..I have a very high level threshold for pain. And why I know about stoma is that after my 3rd operation to resolve issues ( gangrene had eaten holes thru my intentional track) my holey intestines floated to the surface for the second time and didn't make as good a stoma as it had after the second operation. Some skin was not covered with the inside of the intestine and when the fecal mater came out it burned the skin in about 1 minute . I had to get to somewhere to clean it before it started bleeding. The only thing that stopped the burning was Malox.
Had.the sepsis from week old burst intestines... Thanks drs.who assume if you aren't puking and screaming you aren't sick really.... Lost 18 inches of intestine surrounding that. 18 years later I've luckily never earned a stoma or colostomy. Manage my Crohn's with immune system challenges. Works way better than TNF blockers steroids or anything I was given in the first twenty years of the disease. 10 years of giving my immune system entertainment means it's too busy to attack healthy tissue anymore. Not for everyone. Just for sufferers with the mutation linked to ancestors who survived plague. If your immune system is supersonic but living in a clean first world nation it will seek work and take on guts, spine , eyes whatever.... If supersonic immunity meets pathogens regularly it plays with those and abandons the gut etc. Not for everyone. Probably not safe for anyone doing mainstream treatments meant to block immune response.
