- The Outdoors are just around the corner and riders are beginning to step away from the private supercross tracks and head to the local motocross tracks of Southern California for some preparation. Recently, we went out to legendary Glen Helen Raceway to see who was testing and dialing their outdoor set-up. We were welcomed by the screaming Star Racing Yamaha's of Dylan Ferrandis and Justin Cooper, GEICO Honda's Hunter Lawrence and Christain Craig, TLD KTM's Brandon Hartranft, and more! Depends on track type and condition, but most riding coaches will get you to learn how to maintain momentum get you to shift less.

why are the KTM boys there? I thought Mamma KTM said they can't practice with the public?

They were in mx2 together and herlinga smoked him for years.
Probs to Brandon on the success he’s had in the 250’s considering his size. He’s at a disadvantage in the 250’s being that big when dudes are 20+lbs lighter. He’ll be solid in the 450s when he moves up.

@@fredgarvinMP I mean its better than nothing in the winter, but the races are so short, they are just hopping around and usually the riders get hurt bad. Give me 2 motos where they are hauling ass in outdoors.
