fog of war maps are always annoying to play for me, that's why i always stock up on torch staves beforehand, i think they are available in serafew world map shop this is particularly useful for first time playthroughs and makes the map easier to deal with. and I definitely think this is one of the hardest maps in fe8

I've played it a LOT since I basically always play the Ephraim route. First time I played it was a disaster. My Ephraim got killed by the Deathgoyle boss I didn't know was there, then on the second attempt I lost my promoted Franz and my Vanessa and restarted the map again. Every time I've played it I've gotten a little better at it, so these days I don't have near the trouble with it.
Erika is gonna meet up with Ephraim and be like "brother, what happened to all my friends?" Ephreaim: Friends? I thought they were expendable meat hsields.

Going into ghost ship without promoting anyone except _Sage moulder_ is one of the worst desitions you could make lmao. Also even if Lute had some bad levels she's still strictly better than Neimi imo.
@@kratosmvn_ That one went well :D Now I will attempt to do solo Lyon run >:D Will have to really jiggle around with Summoner, Necromancer, Knoll and Shaman stuff to do his stats and growths. (and im defo picking up more fluxes) Edit: He defo feels like Knoll but on crack. I love it
Do not do solo runs as Summoner unit (don't why you would wish for it, but you get walled from actually summoning units by the code, even if you tamper with the selection)

Loved this portion of the run, ghost ship always so entertaining
It's a very fun map because it can stump even experienced players
At least now Neimi can be with Colm

Have you considered using FEBuilder to make an Iron Man challenge more difficult? It's easy enough to change the difficulty of each chapter.

Very true, but sometimes I prefer mixing it up than strictly using the 'statistically better' character. It probably did cost me on this map, though.
