Today we beat the Hazard 5 Quest of Crystalline Caverns where you have to reach level 60 with the Strongarmed Driller in Deep Rock Galactic Survivor. What started as a random run turned into picking a lot of weapons I don't often use, and all of a sudden the stage was flooded by drones.

The cryo grenade did more damage than the axe in the end, I guess it really is just a trash weapon right now if it pulls enemies into you and does less damage than a "utility weapon"

Fun videos. Stumbled onto your stuff mostly because of vampire survivors but this a pretty solid game too.
it looks like axe is pulling enemies toward point where You threw it from, so if You move more sideways You can avoid pullback
it is killing me how you sometimes let some german curses out xD really enjoying watching your stream !
by the way, i tried a Cryonade build once, they can do lot of dmg and the freeze seems to scale on the damage taken by the mobs. so even the last boss can be freeze, probably even longer then i did. but my whole screen was blue/ white with those explosions ... had to wear sunglasses while playing...
and i prefere to just focus on a single weapon, and get it level 35 - 40 + the sides buffs and artefacts. but i guess it aint this funny
DRG also just announced what will be coming in Season 5, too, and that's on top of the stuff for the 6th anniversary. So not a roadmap, but GSG isn't radio silent about their plans.
As far as the "Die like your mother did!" line that was removed, the devs for DRGS said they were looking into making that line a toggle, so anybody complaining about it is usually just trying to be a jerk about someone being uncomfortable after losing a parent. I've always thought it was a weird line with zero context (people claim it's suggesting Karl killed a glyphid queen, but there is nothing besides that line that implies it) and honestly couldn't care less if it was removed from the main game, too.
I agree. Wouldn't want someone shooting up schools because they couldn't tell that a voiceline was directed to the alien enemy bugs and not the player. Just like that Portal 2 orphans line.
I was so happy when I originally saw the axe as an unlock. I was disappointed when I discovered it wasn't strictly a melee weapon.

The only time I've ever bought a cosmetic with real money is for DRG, because they pump out so much awesome free content and I wanted to support the devs.
The viper drone is the best 2nd weapon for the axe imho. The damage scale is insane.

I hate the Axe just because it moves everything to a random place when I'm walking by, so frustrating to see -40 hp or more bc of that

Wonderful run. Yet do not understand why you skip movement speed upgrades...
It's the mentality of "with movement speed you can run away from enemies. If i insead get more damage and kill them i don't have to run away from them"
@@pokeboy_hd the thing is, pickle nitra is m/s converted into raw dps. the artifact are so shallow in term of pool that you can just plan around getting pickle nitra every run.
My biggest gripe with the game is the difficulty. Even hazard 1 felt extremely overbearing because the amount of enemies was way too high and you weren't really able to move around the map and explore. A lot of weapons are also reliant on certain upgrades, most guns need piercing and if you don't get it (since it's not guaranteed) you pretty much have a useless weapon for the rest of the run. I also got stuck in dead ends I couldn't get out of way too many times (mostly on hollow bough, crystaline caverns is a fine map imo). My brother got the game and he already returned it for that exact reason. I hope they adjust the lower difficulties in the future and just add more additional ones or introduce a bigger challenge for those who seek it out via the mutators
