    Great video! It’s a term that gets thrown around a lot and us beginner/amateur players might know what it is, but not why it matters or how one less pawn on one side can actually be a strength.
    A bit like the IQP. We know what it is but perhaps not why it matters or what the goals for both colours are in such a position.

    Simply the best late game plan in the exchange variation. Just don’t go for it while there’s still dynamic play possible as it’s very slow. White can sometimes complicate things by playing b4, so ensure you still have a5 and e5 available as pawn levers.

      Ne5 is a way for white to attack the Black kingside (f7 sacrifices sometimes) and also slow down the Black minority attack by preparing to capture our knight on c4 in the example.
