• With his first paycheque, lead singer Matthew Shultz bought a Joe Cocker cassette tape
• Live and Counting Crows went on a co-headlining tour together in 2000
• Willie Nelson's kids, Lukas and Micah Nelson, were part of Neil Young's backing band on The Monsanto Years album and tour
