This wasn't just a historic upset, but a historic choke. I don't know if the Bucks could've tried harder to lose this one - they had to do so much *wrong* to lose this game (in addition to Butler being the second coming of MJ).
But I loved every second of it. With the Clippers out I'm a neutral spectator and love underdogs, and on top of that, Jimmy has one of the best attitudes towards being a professional athlete in the NBA - so so I'm definitely rooting for them to keep bucking the odds.

Budenholzer should be fired. I've always thought that that 2021 championship saved his job. His failure to adjust has cost the Bucks too many times over the past 4 years. It cost them a 2-0 lead in the ECF. It got them eliminated in 5 by Miami in a series they should've won. It nearly cost them against an injured Nets team. It cost them a Game 7 that they could've won without Middleton. Last night, it got them eliminated in 5 by Miami AGAIN, except they were the 8TH SEED this time. There is no way that he should keep his job after this.

This was essential for Milwaukee to spur some real change. Otherwise, they would have been exposed by New York, Boston, or Philly later on in the playoffs. Coaching change is a must. Jure and Kris need to go for Damian Lillard. The last time Milwaukee was embarassed by Miami, change happened and the very next season they won the championship, sweeping the Heat in the process. Jimmy Butler just helped Milwaukee on their 2024 title campaign. Don't be suprised if Giannis puts up insane numbers and wins anoter MVP or DPOY in the process because he is pissed.

I will flame myself in the comments for dismissing Bucks vs Heat series I wasn't going to watch. I expected the Bucks to win in 3 or 4 without any issue. I also knew Butler was going to be good, but apparently he was much better than expected. Good job Heat and good job Jimmy Buckets. So happy to hear that Duncan Robinson got the chance to redeem himself and shot lights out, also better than expected. I was a fool for doubting the Heat, they are such a resilient team. Sure, it could have gone the other way, but to do this to a championship caliber team is just a huge credit to their play.
