  • Bing Copeland began surfing in 1949, at age 13, at the Manhattan Beach pier. Bing opened his first surf shop in the fall of 1959 with his friend Rick Stoner and became one of the major surfboard manufactures of the sixties and early seventy’s. At one point, the factory produced up to 40 surfboards a day. In addition to his board-building team, Bing also had a star team of riders, including David Nuuhiwa, Dru Harrison, Chris Schlickenmeyer, and Rolf Aurness just to name a few. Bing has gone through many changes throughout the years, but one thing remains true, the Bing brand offers a rich and tenured history to the roots of the surfing community with quality, craftsmanship, and innovation always being second to none. Carver is proud to announce its’ collaboration with Bing Surfboards offering the iconic Continental and Puck models. Learn more at carverskateboar...

would you recommend the C7 - 37" for street cruising/surf? Or better the CX?

I ride the c7 and cx long distance 25 miles or more every Saturday c7 turns and carvers tighter but is slower over all but the cx it more stable and faster my main issue with the c7 the bolt for the spring tension can loosen over long distance if you ride short distance like a hour then the bolt is not as much as issue
