It's a 50 calibre made in 1944 the letters LC is the place of manufacture I have one pulled out of river magnet fishing made it safe cleaned up now on display with 50 cal bullet tips and 7.62 Bullets all found magnet fishing. Nice finds Ben great video 👍👍

Ah yes I see that now. Thanks for the info. So this particular bullet was manufactured in America. Now, does that mean it was shot by American military personnel or could it have been from another country, like UK and they ordered their ammunition from this plant. 🤷🏼♂️
@@180FelixstoweHunter impossible to say if it was us or the americans who shot it as the gun was fitted to many things. That most likely fell out of a fighter or bomber. It would have been for the Browning M2 machine gun en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M2_Browning

That's a lot of ammo coming up been interesting to know the history of that area I know you cant give to much away though.
