They are nice axes for sure, a fair bit too small for real work, sent mine back for the larger forest axe. It’s still a little small for 2 hands but you can use it with one or two hands. I made a sling and sheath for it and along with my dog it has become my forest companion.

Very good vibes in this video, great editing, very nice! I have the scandinavian forest axe and i love it. im hesitating between the small forest axe and the outdoors axe to complete the set though, so very usefull video!

For softwood none better than a scandanavian axe and Gransfors is the best. I prefer the Snow and Nealley for American hardwood.

Sitting down and working on the ground with an smaller axe is for saftey.
Its what you do with smaller axes to prevent overswing injuries.
