The past thirteen years have been unkind to Cube, former Defender of the Polyverse. He was once very sharp; smooth, too, but the sands of time have made him a little rough-around-the-edges
I still remember how much I cried in Cube 2, when Sphere sacrificed itself so that Cube could reach Pyramid, only for me to find out he has been working with Cone all along. It was a betrayal that has affected me for years.
Cube 3: Rise of the Bi-Dimensionals is still the best one in the series IMO. The part where you temporarily control Cylinder during his heroic sacrifice to defeat Triangle is one of the most emotional scenes in video games as a whole, period.
Yeah, and I'm not a fan of how Cube 4: Time Warrior used its time manipulation mechanics to save Cylinder while keeping Triangle still stays locked up. The whole point of the sequence in 3 was that there wasn't an angle that could do both. Completely soured the game for me.
I don't remember how long ago I saw this, but however many years it was, this lives in my head rent free. I consistently find myself just shouting "CUBE".
This 14 year old video has the sense of humor of modern day. I won't be surprised if some cube related starts to trend and this video gets recc'd to everyone
