The Squeeze rabbit hole is deep and rewarding. "Take me, I'm yours", "Pulling mussels from a shell", "Goodbye girl" or "Labelled with love" are just some of the good songs you could react to.

I saw them on their first major tour, just as "Take me I'm yours," their first hit, was in the charts.

Chris Difford was awesome on this track. The greatest example of modern day poetry. Very difficult for non Brits to pick up the colloquialisms including 'Sweeney' and the wonderful 'Give the dog a bone'😂. What a track!

5:25 The brunette is Julia Gale who did a bunch of music videos including appearing in the Up the Junction video and Depeche Mode's See You video. She is probably best to known to BBC TV series Grange Hill fans as the character Carol Yates in the first four seasons.

I've still got my original copy on lovely pink vinyl. A lot of their singles were on coloured vinyl. Up The Junction was lilac.

A really cool tune - so much fun, and all those innuendos and rhyming slang went way over my head as an 8 year old charging around the school playground shouting Cooool For Caaats!

Both Bands on stage Elvis & Glenn Tilbrook sharing Mic singing "From a Whisper to a Scream" !!.....In Fact Squeeze was Last Concert I saw before COVID hit ( seen 2 after since, Santana & Roger Water's Pink Floyd show) , ... Actually Kind of saved his ass, 2 days later, he hadn't charged his phone, took mine to his work, & Killed it, fell out his pocket while moving Slot machine, it slipped & killed phone & I' was SO Pissed I'd recorded. All Concert &&& had gotten up from seat & stood by 2nd row & got Awesome take of Glen''s guitar solo of my Fav song Nail in My Heart !!....Again Hope you don't mind LONG Overshare & history...But you make me Smile & feel like you're a son from another mother ( Glad to say have 2 GREAT kids, shit, both in 30's guess not kids...LOL... always shared music) Rock On Nick !! && You're NOT Insignificant !!!❤

This is a great tune and good to see the video was allowed through for people who haven’t seen it. Kind of a different (even funnier than usual vibe) from Squeeze. Not sure what you should do next…. For me Squeeze is like XTC or the Buzzcocks I’m that every song was great. a deep deep catalogue.

This video makes Squeeze look cooler than their others. And the two women singers are arousing me lol they look cute. Also I did not know that was Difford but I notice he looks more punk and/or hip or rugged than their other members. Whereas the more posh fashions tend to put me off a bit (bcuz I'm punk as fv

Ok, Nicky Nick…this is random, but this song got me thinking about a killer band that I thought was the next coming of the Libertines or British version of the Strokes. They were called the Palma Violets and their debut album…my god. 2013 release. They have a single called “Step up for the Cool Cats” and I thought cool cat theme! I still listen to their debut album(they have two albums) coz it’s so damn good. They are like if Spuritualized and the Libertines had a beautiful bratty baby.

No longer my top Squeeze tune - my tastes have changed a bit as I've aged (aged, not necessarily matured...) but still right up there near the top of any list it's on. When I was at school though I couldn't see past it as it does everything right and nothing wrong as far as my teenage brain was concerned. To be clear, if almost any other band had come up with this it would easily have been their best thing ever. It's just that Squeeze aren't just any other band and have enough top tunes to fill several greatest hits collections.
I like Squeeze even more than I like well done reaction videos of bands I like, of which this is one. Thank you, I continue to enjoy and be impressed by your channel. And you.
