The Mosque is a beautiful space... the geometric designs and colours are so beautiful... I am a Christian and many of our churches are also beautiful but the mosques seem to have a certain vibrance to them with the colour choices.

@@MeanOldLady l am a Christian with an Indian Muslim friend and l can assure you he would never think of hurting harming etc. A female or child of any race or religion. The females and children in his family are treated with the utmost respect and love. His wife is well cared for loved and is his life. Remember there is good and bad in every race religion. Do not paint every person with the same brush. Yes l know this family extremely well it is a joke in the family l am his mother's daughter from another mother. Get to know people of other race religion and culture you will see there is good everywhere. Have your glass half full not half empty.
Dont be quick to judge, or condemn. I am a Christian and i have friends that are muslims and from other countries, and I have never seen none of them disrespect their wifes, children, parents or any one. DON'T GO BY WHAT YOU SEE ON TV, OR SOCIAL MEDIA, like everywhere else IN THE WORLD there is good and bad. BE HUMBLED HEARTED, LOVE ONE ANOTHER. BE OPEN HEARTED TO KNOW OTHER PEOPLE AND THEIR CULTURES.

The Mosque was so lovely and the day so perfect, with the gorgeous blue sky. I am thankful my friend and her family were safe after earthquake and were able to all be present and well for such a lovely meal prepared by your talented sister in law. So many colorful and tempting foods, lovingly prepared and served at a beautifully set table for the loved ones. A memorable gathering for sure, capped off by a stunning view of night crossing of the beautiful Bosporus. I’ll be watching this one over and over. So much to see! I am missing Istanbul and I have never been there. Just with what I see on the Turkish tv shows in Netflix is enough to fall in love with the city and their inhabitants so loving caring and compassionate. I'm counting the days to be there in 2020. Blessings

I went with lot of sadness and cried on all mosque and while walking on street Istanbul has wiped my tears and heard my voice I could feel Istanbul is feeling my pain, after I left turkey I got my peace of mind and have taken a serious decision for my Petsonal and professional life

You have really outdone yourself with the variety and abundance here! Tarhana- pilafs- that salad!!! At 5:25 is that olives and chopped onions? I have never seen a table as well laid out as that one! (It will hard for even YOU to surpass the excellence you captured here!)
And I didn't even mention the covered silver tray and broad clay serving bowl!!! Wow! 🌿🍓🌿
