The Kanken is my standard travel pack for any length of time - and my clothes are bigger than yours so you should be fine. Ofc we all have different essentials and I hate heat if I can avoid it, but it‘s always interesting to see how others pack their Kanken 👍
Just to say that you can totally wear dresses all year round if you want to :). I live in Germany but I'm from the UK so am there often, and I don't own a single pair of trousers because I don't like wearing them. It's colder here in winter but thermal leggings and tights make it possible, as well as longer, thicker skirts or dresses. It's just what I feel comfortable in and I wanted to tell you that should you wish to, you can wear dresses in any season!
Exactly! I am czech and since having kids I am learning to wear dresses all the seasons. I would say it´s much warmer than jeans, as you have two layers - leggings and dress. That´s fear is all about what type of dress suits you best. I have hourglass body, there are few options, I like best fit and flare dresses. You must think of materials, sleeves (baloon ones when the color is not appropriate for sweating)...etc etc...much to think of...but I am getting it already :-D I wish you would find your way too.
I am pretty lucky in that most dresses suit me, so for me it’s more about me picking which I like best. When I’m thinking about packing minimally. All my dresses are linen except one which is viscose. So now really I just wanted to downsize the amount I had. So I chose to get rid of the shortest due to how much mosquito bites on my legs affect me. So I believe I have absolutely found my way now about what I like, that is flexible for most countries I am in. The reason I don’t like to wear leggings under dresses is I find it abit smothering and restrictive. Just a personal feeling. So I do prefer simply wearing trousers on their own in a colder climate. 😊 👗
Oh! You got a Fjällräven! As I am swedish I have one backback for work traval! The best! I have one small "around the waist" bag as well. Good stuff, holds forever.
It's always after holiday that we think we really need and use 🙈 it's a nice video with the pictures of your holiday next to it! 🌊 Very nice and good decluttering! Autumn is season of renewal 😌🍁🍄🟫🤎
Thank You ☺️ it is Nadège. I liked what you once said before about sometimes also if we lose our luggage we then realise how unimportant it all was 😂 something like that 🤔 I remember 👌 😊 🍁 🤎 🍄🟫
I love going away to travel for this very reason. I always learn what I don’t actually need. Thank you for sharing! I’m looking forward to the new packing video!
Watching this video makes me wish I could live with so few clothes. Alas I live in a 4-season state which gets brutal winters, and extreme heat and humidity in the summer. You still inspire me to declutter a few pieces of clothing and shoes at least. 😉❤️
i'm from southern california and it's hot. but when i go anywhere hotter or more humid, it is so hard to adapt. we underestimate the need for UPF clothing as well as bug-repellent clothing!
Do you shop much? Or have things in storage? You're constantly decluttering. Do you have a constant cycle of buy/purge? Just asking because your house is so empty
I barely ever shop and only replace something if I feel something is truly not fitting my lifestyle anymore. For a while I was on a learning journey about what backpack is best for my frame. I have found that now. I don’t have anything in storage. How we keep things around our home is designed to not have much visually on show. So I do occasionally find things in our kitchen cupboards that I question whether I use. As I learn more about what I truly use I am able to simply let go of more. So it may feel like I constantly declutter but I only get rid of a few items at once. The one thing that I swap out abit more often is a favourite mug. I would say this is the only thing, that if I see one I like more than my current 1 - I do a 1 in 1 out for. This keeps me accountable about how often I choose to do this. Often the mugs are second hand or a gift and I choose whether I like it enough to keep it as a replacement for my current one.
The new channel is now live on this link below… videos coming this Friday 25th OCT 8pm BST www.youtube.com/@BARENECESSITIESSIMPLE
She's so fearless on this stuff. Very inspirational. I might start another "one year one dress" challenge just based on watching this!

You may want to look at modifiable clothes, like sweaters with zip off collars and cargo pants that turn into shorts
Thank You Amy ☺️ ❤️

That is the natural light in my window because my room is all white and with mirrors for reflection. Otherwise, our home would be very dark 💡
