I recall having read in a few biographies of The Rolling Stones that Joe Jagger (Mick Jagger's late father), at the time a physical education teacher in Dartford-Kent, was somehow affiliated with that ATV show, which is how his eldest son, Michael, obtained his first paid performance gig. And it was Joe Jagger's disciplining of his sons (Christopher and Michael) in calisthenics which led Mick to a lifelong physical regimen that has served hm well to this day--all those years demonstrating his incredible agility with choreography for The Rolling Stones concerts. and then, amazingly, earlier this year, only one week after undergoing a cardiac procedure, the 76 years old Mick Jagger was seen working out at the gym. moving about like a guy stil in his 20s. Just a bunch of long-haired weirdos called the Rolling Stones". :D At the end of the night, Jeff and his bunch were quite satisfied: the Stones had long, "dirty hair" which had not caught on widely yet. "Well, we thought, we'll never have to worry about those guys again. How wrong can you get!" ;)
