Was so excited to see that we can finally use our BSR with rulers! What a game changer! Can't wait to get mine! Also thanks for the great ruler recommendations. Great video! Subscribed.
I am so glad you used this ruler. I was having trouble with getting my ruler into small parts of a clam shell ruler. I absolutely love these BSR attachments and Highly recommend!
In principle these presser feet should work but in my experience there use is limited. The issue I have found is that because the Bernini BSR foot is angled I am unable to fit these attachments into many rulers eg. scallop shapes, smaller cut out shapes…..so frustrating.
Thank you for your comments. These attachments were never intended to go inside rulers. All of our marketing and instruction refer to that. It is because the bsr itself is the wrong footprint for inside rulers. But they work fantastic on curved rulers, straight line quilting and much more!! Way more than you could ever do with this oh so expensive attachment!
In a comment elsewhere can’t find video, I think you said you can still do Circles but not on rule is we have to go inside the ruler, how do you do this? What ruler do used to do it? I’m assuming it’s a shape for you go around the outside and at some point turn the rule all the work with something but I’m not sure what kind of ruler would do it, a video be great
Several of our videos show the use of them. They are great for echo quilting around a circle or square, for example. Or if you do a lot of cross hatching, they give you really even spacing at set intervals. We just posted a bunch of videos on how to use them, so take a look.
Barbara- This is a foot I invented to be compatible with the Bernina bsr and allow you to do Ruler Work as well as Free Motion. Here is the link to where you can purchase it. www.quiltingdelights.com/shop/Quilting-Ruler-Work--Feet-and-Accessories/Bernina-BSR-Compatible-Rulerwork-Foot.htm I'm actually surprised Bernina has not approached me about purchasing the rights to these attachments. We have sold thousands to very happy Bernina owners!
@@quiltingdelights seeing this for the first time. I am concerned with this being an after market addition to a very expensive sewing machine. Would it devoid any warranty on the machine?
@@rbanker76 I was a Bernina dealer for 15years. I know the machines very well. Bernina should have made this tool available years ago. There is no warranty issue. We have sold thousands with no issues. Thank you for your questions.😊👍
Yes, we can ship to France. You can order them on our website www.quiltingdelights.com or email me at info@woolyfeltedwonders.com and I can invoice you. Shipping is $16.00. Thank you, Chris
I'm thinking I bought the wrong foot now. I bought the 72S foot to start doing ruler work on my Bernina but should have bought the 3-piece "BSR Compatible Ruler Work Attachments instead to use with my BSR right?
I didn't catch what mode you like for the BSR for ruler work. I find that I can't get things to start moving, because the needle is down, so can't move the fabric enough to register with the BSR.
Tracey, Thank you for your question. Due to the shape of the BSR attachment itself and how close it sits to the machine bed, you can not use rulers behind the feet. You can use them on the left side and the front and part way around on the right side. What I do is go up the left side and stop at the point where I want the stitching to change directions and then place the ruler in front of the foot and go to the right, then stop where you need to change directions, and move the ruler to the left side of the foot and go down the right side, etc. Hope this helps, Chris
Cynthia, Thank you for your inquiry. You can order them directly from our website www.quiltingdelights.com. When you get to our website just type in rulerwork feet in the search bar. Use code TAKE10 at check out and get a 10% discount. Thank you, Chris

Ia it possible to sew the inside of a circle ruler using the bsr? I am so looking forward to doing ruler work with my bsr.

Do you have videos showing the use of 1/2 and 3/4 in attachments

Can the ruler foot attachment for the BSR be purchased separately from the BSR. Seeing this for the first time.
Yes, absolutely. Available in a set of three attachments at www.quiltingdelights.com
You are using a different foot on your BSR then I have and I don't see it in the Bernina catalog. Where did you get it?

Yes. They are designed for use with the 1/4" thick rulers. Thank you!

Sorry! I missed this! I like the mode where it stops stitching when you stop moving. I don't like it to keep stitching.....
Use the BSR attachment, can you go across and back rather than stopping at the right side and starting again on the left side of a block?
