Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Oh, where are the Charles Spurgeons of today? The church is so in need of great leaders with wise discernment. What a blessing to have these sermons!

I thank GOD for sending us this man who delivered a Gospel that truly saved. I am a 32 year old man who has always called himself a Christian and considered himself saved until I was convicted of the sin I considered ''common'' by listening to this man. My entire world view has changed. My only hearts desire is to serve my master and savior Jesus Christ. I pray that we may be blessed with another man of truth who desires to save souls rather than fill seats. Praise Jesus.
So beautiful said may continue as you receive Christ walk in him amen.

The thing I adore about Spurgeon is his adherence to the Bible scripture, and that every sermon is sprinkled with grace and truth. The fruit of the Spirit is there for us to receive it, may the Lord help us all to rest in his perfect work in Jesus name.

I am new to Christianity and at 60yrs old have led a miserable lost life. Being brought up Catholic didn't mean I was, then tried Evangelism which terrified me with Apocalyptic scenarios along with SATAN being talked more about than GOD.New Age nonsense followed the next few decades till I came to my senses that gurus were just con men. Who is GOD? One and only documented historically and for everyone.GOD help us all.
Charles Spurgeon was a good voice of reason, unlike Joseph Smith, Charles Taze Russell and Ellen G. White in the 1800s(many souls are lost to these people new religions that is not of Christ.), the others change the gospel and take away Christ's divinity and the nature of salvation is changed, this man(Charles Spurgeon) is still producing good fruit for the kingdom of heaven and his reward must be very great, I salute such a man and pray to be has up right in these fallen times, may the holy father keep us all in Jesus Christ.
