Timbaland & Magoo was actually a rap group and that’s how Tim debuted as an artist. Also, the top Music Video director in the late 90’s/early 2000’s was Hype Williams and he was Missy’s favorite to work with. You see his name credited in her later videos. This song was from her first album.
This video was actually directed by Earle Sabastion. But Missy usually comes up with the treatment for her videos.

One thing about growing up while Missy debuted as a solo artist: I was always excited for her music and her videos, because look at this lol. How can you not be. "Beep Me 911" is the third single from Missy's debut album Supa Dupa Fly (1997); the song peaked at #13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart. Also I saw you were blown away by Kameelah's vocals on the little bridge part and you're not alone. Her voice is just so pure, and then when Lameisha and Irish join her in harmony...man.
