  • Is change bad or good?
How do we change the resistance to change - and again, is this resistance something bad? More importantly, are you leading change, or is it leading you?
In Leading Organizations & Change, Professor Michael Frese, Asia School of Business Professor of Management, delves into the complexities of change management and changing organizations in an era that is characterized by change.
Whether it's managing through uncertainties, through crises, or more specifically, through the pandemic, leading individuals, groups, and organizations effectively is key to managerial excellence. Yet, it could be your most difficult challenge as a manager. This hands-on executive program will achieve this objective in three ways. First, it will provide you with a framework for increasing individual, group and organizational performance. Second, it will help you understand and develop effective leadership skills required to shape and manage the behavior of people in organizations. Third, through self-reflection of your own practice at work (“journal”), it will relate the relevance and usefulness of the concepts and management practices discussed in class to your work experiences.
Participants will better understand the following and more:
    1. To understand management of cross-cultural differences and how to make better use of these differences
    2. To help you manage individuals for high performance by increasing your understanding of individual and interpersonal behavior
    3. To help you manage groups for high performance
    4. To help you understand the challenges of leading and changing organizations
