This song is truly a masterpiece, one of the best songs ever to be composed. I´m just 16 but my dad raised me with GnR and the´ve been my favourite band since I can remember. This song in particular stands out to me because there´s not one single wrong note or word in this song, it´s just 100% perfection, from the quiter flutes and violines to the massive orchester, Axl´s Piano, Slash`s solos etc etc everything just fits perfectly.

One of the best rock songs ever made. It has it all and is almost a progressive rock song... It is like the video... it just goes on and evolves from somewhat melodic to even hard rock vibes and is also about as long as progresive rock songs.
The orchestral bit remastered and rerecorded has put so so much life in the song. There's so much air and detail in the orchestration that I never noticed before. Let alone the crisper drums and beautiful arrangement. Thank you Steven. Great for the fans but an audiophile's wet dream.

Quite crazy, given he isn't a sound engineer by profession. Some previous remasters received rave reviews from the artists (Robert Fripp).
Love how crystal clear you can hear the piano and the vocals. The song really shines in a different light with e real orchestra behind it. So pure. My grandma passed away a couple of days ago, and this version got released today, adding a whole new feeling to my sadness.

Makes me sad that there's less appreciation for music today because it's all easily accessible for free. No payments or waiting required. Guns N' Roses were the quintessential rock band and most iconic of all time. Anyone who lived through the 90s when they were at their height got to see the most prolific rockstars ever. That was a hell of a time to be a teenager. Not since the Beatles has a rock band skyrocketed to fame so quickly. But they were burning the candle at both ends 24/7. Not sure we will see a band like them ever again.

Why am I not surprised at the fact that Steven Wilson helped mix this track? This version of the classic track is simply sublime! Yeah, the repeated riff in the solo that closes out the song is one of the absolute best in rock history, IMHO. And the chord progression that underlies it is super-cool, and elevates that already-awesome riff to a whole other level!

Every time I hear this track I remember when I bought it in cassette form, it was my first cassette ever! I ran home and played it in my Walkman. I had only ever heard it played on the radio, so it was amazing that I could play it all day every day and whenever I wanted to! Love you Guns n Roses!

Axl Rose is in my opinion, the greatest musical genius of our time. I believe his abilities that you can explain better than me puts him just over Freddie Mercury. I can only describe his voice as having the ability to change as much and as quickly as changing fonts on Microsoft Word. There are just no words for the talent in that one man, let alone the group as a whole. They are just unmatched on every level. How lucky we are to be witnesses to it.

Guns N' Roses were the quintessential rock band and most iconic of all time. Anyone who lived through the 90s when they were at their height got to see the most prolific rockstars ever. That was a hell of a time to be a teenager. Not since the Beatles has a rock band skyrocketed to fame so quickly. But they were burning the candle at both ends 24/7. Not sure we will see a band like them ever again.

What many also don't realize is that he composed "November Rain" entirely on his own, and created the orchestral sounds and string arrangements on a synthesizer. The video shows scenes of them playing it with an orchestra, and they have performed it live with one before, but the 1991 studio version was all Rose in the studio.
November Rain was re-released in 2022. The updated version of the track features the same performance by the band, but the orchestration has been re-recorded with a 50-piece orchestra, conducted and arranged in 2021 by Grammy award-winning composer Christopher Lennertz, which replaces the original synthesized orchestration done by Rose.

Why am I not surprised at the fact that Steven Wilson helped mix this track? This version of the classic track is simply sublime! The drums are so clean and punchy, Slash’s lead guitars sound so crispy, the choir and orchestra are ever present and Axl’s vocals hit as heavy as ever! One of the best rock songs ever with one of the best guitar solos ever! Literally defined a genre and a generation. GnR forever!👏 🫡 ✌️

Axl Rose is in my opinion, the greatest musical genius of our time. I believe his abilities that you can explain better than me puts him just over Freddie Mercury. I can only describe his voice as having the ability to change as much and as quickly as changing fonts on Microsoft Word. There are just no words for the talent in that one man, let alone the group as a whole. They are just unmatched on every level. How lucky we are to be witnesses to it.
I knew he was responsible for the entire idea and direction of this song...also that the other idiots didn't dig what he was doing. Some just lack vision, he is incredible and I'm so happy after his low point that he's salvaged some of his voice ability...but for gods sake, NOBODY on this earth could maintain a voice like that forever?!
