Dodger Platooning doesn't work. That is the downfall of the Dodger System, not for October. Players never get in a rhythm, Chris Taylor may have a high OPS but he's not clutch, He's not a gamer in tough situations. So done with the Platooning. If a player is allowed to hit everyday they will become a good clutch player. If Platooning is so effective than Platoon Freddie and Mookie and Shohei, no they became stars because they were in systems that allowed them to develop. Whose the last player in the Dodger organization to be a non platoon player thats still with the Dodgers.
Chris Taylor has tons of clutch moment. The players don’t platoon as often in the regular season. They platoon in oct bc they’re trying to max out opportunities. Platoon is based on stats, that’s why you don’t platoon mookie Freddie and shohei. The last player to not platoon developed by dodgers is will smith
Lux is 6-33 with 2 RBIs in 36 plate appearances against Lefties, I guarantee if he had a hundred plate appearances he would be out performing Chris Taylor. Taylor has a .161 batting average in 46 games against lefties, Come on guys wake up. This is a joke. Heyward is 4-13 with a homer and 2 RBIs in 13 plate appearances against lefties, I'd take that over Taylor, if he had more plate appearances it would improve, just like Teoscar against righties this year. Dodgers front office are too into metrics, the eyeball test screams Heyward over Taylor. Heyward could play centerfield.
Defensively Heyward has nothing to do in CF having Kiermaier there and against righties havieng Edman there. Even with the possiblity of Mookie at 2nd against lefties, Heyward's bat has nothing to do with Pages there. The issue is not only batting but the mix of the bat, speed and defensively and CT3 had the leverage being an good glove utility guy
@@edomarpez1840 He should, he still is defensively just as good as anyone and his bat is more valuable and explosive than the rest of the options. The Dodgers screwed him.
Leave mookie in right so he can focus on hitting in playoffs
DODGERS DODGERS 🤘
we want the best guys and yet Kershaw gets a free pass.

Agreed. Imo, in most cases, that platooning "need" is more created than real. I always felt that with Joc, for example
