Spawning from a collaboration between FluidFreeRide and commuter scooter visionaries, E-TWOW, the Fluid Mosquito predictably challenges all we’ve come to expect from an ultra-portable model. Is it lightweight? You bet. Is it fast? No doubt. Value for money? Let’s just say there’s no better portable scooter under $1,000.
Billed as the most powerful ultra-portable scooter on this side of Jupiter, the Fluid Mosquito packs quite the punch. In fact, it has an extremely high power-to-weight ratio. Weighing a mere 29 lbs, this little nipper flies down city streets at speeds of 25 mph to transform any commute into a white-knuckle thrill ride.
Coming equipped with a powerful 48V 500W motor, respectable 9.6Ah battery, puncture-proof tires, and seriously impressive suspension, the Mosquito is custom-made for adding zip to shorter urban journeys. Wave goodbye to mundane morning walks to the office because this bottle rocket is about to change your life.

Will buy again and again if my mosquito breaks down... the solid tires are PUNCTURE-proof!!!! Me being over 200 lb... I can get my mosquito to 25-28 mph on a steady climb in speed and 18-22 mph on a slight uphill.... very zippy and fast to get around. Just DO NOT ride on wet conditions, if you need to.. just go under 15 mph or less. I love the back fender break for slowing down.. but the regen-brakes are strong... and with the handle brake... it will stop you in an emergency. :) I love this machine! Super light!!!!
Be great if etwow could make a version with 10 inch wheels with perhaps a puncture less foam filled type tyre like Segway have on their e-series scooters. That way deck hight would rise slightly and comfort and grip would be improved. Improve lighting and a good ip rating and it would be much more desirable to a wider range of people.
precisely
I only wish for this scooter. Fluid scooters including the Vista are great with their power and range but their solid tires are an absolute dealbreaker compromising comfort and safety in slippery conditions when they could simply incorporate 10-inch tubeless self-sealing tires like Segway and Niu Kqi scooters.
Fantastic review and
superb script!
Well delivered and presented!
👌🏼👏🏼🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
I got my Mosquito. I love it. It's portable and fast. Shipping was quick. Package came perfect.
Does it roll well when the battery is dead or powered off?
Did you have to Assemble it?
@@joeputz4559 it does well
@@moniquebaby36 yes open box and take out and everything pops into place
Great video review on the mosquito. I know a couple of people that this scooter might work for them. Excelente content. Love your videos brotha. 👍🏽😊
You do excellent reviews. While checking out another review of yours, you got me interested in the turboant x7 pro, but another review got me looking at the fluid cityrider. But I wanted to check out mosquito too. It’s more than I want to spend BUT I get 10% off for being a military veteran, I can pay monthly, 12mos warranty and lifetime 50% off parts?!? What?!? WOW! Honestly you get a lot.
My cons: it would have been nice to see the skateboard deck like on cityrider but I like that the mosquito has a bigger deck. The turn signals from the city rider would be nice on the mosquito too.
I think the mosquito is the one for me.
I need this scooter so bad lol 😆 thanks for making my mind up with this review.
Great video. What's the width and length of the deck? Is it the same width and length as the ETOW?
A rebranded eTWOW GT scooter, it’s a solid choice, my first scooter. I’ve upgraded since, I got the Inokim OX Super, but the light weight and decent speed, hill climbing, is my go to for most quick no nonsense usage. You won’t go so fast you feel you can die, but you won’t lose control and feel at ease. My Inokim gives me white knuckles syndrome, it’s damn fast and it will give you anxiety when riding faster than necessary. None will want to rob the smaller discreet safe ride.
I'm new to the electric scooter I was looking at the e-twow gt sport cause of the light weight and portability still undecided since I'm new in this space.
Will you be reviewing the updated Fluid Horizon, now with thumb throttle?
Like and a comment for the you tube gods lol, great info as always.
So confused - why get this over any of the etwow stuff? Looks exactly the same but with weaker specs? Great review!
On your point on front drum brakes - the ETWOW GT SE (2020 model and newer) has front drum brakes
@@YRGHY2010 You mean rear drum brake
I just got what would be a more real one and this lil mosquito can almost keep up - even trying to off road - its a toy by its wheels but its got alot to it - im impressed with the lil guy
Is it true the Etow is faster?
Key difference between the Fluid Mosquito and the e-TWOW GT Sport: The e-TWOW GT Sport has a 10.5Ah battery with Samsung cells. The Mosquito (made by e-TWOW) has a smaller capacity battery (9.6Ah) with generic cells. The lesser battery accounts for the lower list price of the Mosquito.
Ya but the GT Sport is 0.8 lbs heavier
I have this scooter and I’m wondering if you know how to change the gear? I know there are 3, but I am unaware of how to actually shift???
It’s 5
@ElectricScooterInsider in 2024 do you know any new models of both compact AND powerful kick-scooters? Or Mosquito will be the best for 2024-2025?
Did not see uscooter on your composition list
Is this the same this as the Uscooter GT Sport?
Yes sir. Its nicer in all black and the sine wave controllers.

This is actually a clone of the e-twow booster GT. BTW Spanish branch of e-twow making a dual motor version with 15Ah battery. Still less than 16kg.
Nice!! I'm considering buying sport GT model in orange or blue latest version with 30 mph top speed but if dual motors I'll would really love that 👍
@@coolshariq for this kind of speed, it would be safer to ride something heavier and more stable with wideer handles like vsett 8+ or 9+ it is even cheaper than e-twow dual... where 2x700W with 15Ah batery and top speed around 25MPh is 1900€
Hiley Rider Tiger 8 Pro is a great option
Which would be your pick? Horizon or mosquito?
I’d get the e-TWOW GT Sport with Samsung 10.5Ah battery. The Mosquito (made by e-TWOW) has a smaller capacity battery (9.6Ah) with generic cells.
I want buy a e scooter for £1000 which one would you recommend best for my money? Can you please make a video for 1000 pound e scooter
Apollo Air 2022
Apollo Air 2023
Better than Solar e1 ?
Iknow it’s a little faster but all around?
Does it roll well when the battery is dead or power is off?
It rolls without power fine and it does so smoothly. Check out my mosquito speed run on a golf course

the sxt (e-twow) "clone" does, i think the mosquito too!
I just got one of these for free, after buying the nami.
Uscooter gt sports beat this?
Do not buy that scooter it sucks.
@@maxsinventions8913 why
I've heard it requires the screws to be tightened every few miles. Not good. Any comments on this...I plan to purchase a Fluid scooter soon. Thanks for any info you have.
I've had mine for over 400 miles and have had no issues and I beat her up. Check out my mosquito speed run on a golf course

Same model as etwow ?
Yes same etwow base but different options such as color and sine wave controller.

Handlebars look too narrow for safety.
The Uscooter version with the Samsung 10.5 ah battery is faster
why have a speedometer at all?
The Evercross h5 is WAY better than the mosquito dont waste your money and it only cost $600-$700 and top speed at 28
Its a different class. And it’s twice the weight
10.6.23
Price & display 👎🏽
Less powerfull etwow-gt sl model...
you can get yourself killed if you ride this scooter like you would any commuter. the skinny solid wheels were a huge mistake. they slip for literally anything doesnt even have to be raining. lord help you if you ride this in the rain. they need to put rubber thick solids either honeycomb, or those rubber tires with foam in them. stick with the no flat solids but use a better quality wider thicker tire.
the electronic break is horrible it skips and if your doing thirty on this scooter and your hand break stops working lord help you if all you have is the electronic brake. the scooter is also way too light in needs more weight to better deal with the roads bumpy and unforgiving terrain. so you dont feel like the dam thing is going to flip over and you with it. 35 lbs seems like a good median weight. its a great scooter with equally great flaws. hopefully they can iron this out in the next one. the handlebars cause arthritis they are too short need a far more standard bar length. need to fix the cable for the hand brake its too short and breaks off because of the tension.
This scooter sucks. Sorry. Do not buy.
Why?
I've had it for 400 miles and ran it through hell. Its quite capable but best used under short trips, perfect roads, and no rain.

over 900 miles on mine and still going strong.
