@@heartstations It's so inspirational 😭 I'm curious, did you add the text and color effects in Vegas too? So much of this I usually see done in After Effects, I would love to know something this cool is possible with just Vegas!
AuroraPeachy Yep, all done in SV! For some of the text I used motion tracking (it’s one of the buttons on the front of every video track) to make it seem like it stays in one place while the rest of the clip is moving. It’s kinda time-consuming but I love the results & don’t currently have After effects so it’s worth it for sure. & for stuff like AnsemRiku standing in front of the text I masked every Riku frame in pan/crop, saved each mask frame, & then put those mask frames on the text itself & set it to negative to make it look like he’s moving in front of the text. I did the same thing in other places, like with the heartless going over the text in the graveyard scene. The coloring I used a mix of channel blend fx & messed with other things like brightness, saturation & soft contrast (i did use some newblue fx plugins but you can probably get the same effect without them). Hope that’s helpful 💗💗✨

I think the editing is absolutely amazing. It captures their journey together perfectly and I love Soriku. The only thing I didn't like was the song. It wasn't of my taste, but that doesn't stop me from saying that this is an amazing AMV. Thank you.

GODDAMIT IT'S SO GOOD!!!! That's a lot of dedication with on-beat fades And im sobbing where did you get the non watermark footage of 1.5 remix addition of riku scenes? I use kh-vids but I cant find those cutscenes for my MVs. It's been a trouble
Wow, thank you! Sorry this reply is so late but all the clips I used are from Kh-vids as well, so the final mix scenes must be all sprinkled throughout? When I have a chance to go look through them again I’ll let you know where exactly they are in terms of clip location :)
