This is one of the most powerful, beautiful, moving art forms that humans have come up with. What a stunningly incredible expression of culture. As someone who comes from a culture very different than this I am completely in awe and am appreciative to be able to watch this from across the globe. Thank you so much for sharing this part of your world with us!

I had rolling body chills throughout this magnificent display! I came here because of the Moana song and I felt their emotions and the depth of their feelings for all of the songs. The history of the wars, the mourning song and the battle against drugs were so very moving. My favorite honestly was the mourning song it touched me deeply! Thank you for sharing your culture with us!

I just m filled with SO much joy watching the indigenous cultures we (white people) stole from them. This really cures my depression most days. I cannot begin to imagine how they themselves feel, if it makes me feel like this.

To get rid of British exploitation and occupation
Māori people must maintain unity and solidarity,
Māori people should teach their children to uphold Māori values.
    Don't forget like Haka

Are the face paintings different depending on the female? I noticed the male lead also has paintings on his chest unlike the other males. Does the marking or coloring have a special meaning or is it just for easier identification of their leaders?
Also, this is so beautiful. I was watching the females dance when they took off the green covers with the props (not sure what they are actually called, sorry) thinking that looks really hard but they made it look beautiful and so easy. I know I would fall on my face if I ever tried. So much talent.
