“You people... love our way of life, love our milk and honey. At least you could pay a couple of bucks for poppies or something like that. These guys paid for your way of life that you enjoy in Canada.” Not hateful. Not bigoted. Just true.
@@JRR812 Agreed, I don't care white, black, brown or purple.... you don't respect the reasons you have freedom and who provided that for you.... I would call them you people...... Grapes!
Well in all fairness he didn't just up and retire. He got sent to the minors and saw the writing on the wall. Your NHL career is over. He had nothing to prove and I don't blame him for not wanting to put up with the bullshit he would have had to endured in the minors.
It’s so stupid. This backwards, regressive, woke culture is so toxic and a horrible strain on everything enjoyable in the world. It’s also totally biased. They want to claim that what Don Cherry said is “racist”, but I guarantee that this chick (like so many in Canada) would totally excuse Justin Trudeau wearing blackface on multiple occasions over multiple decades as completely harmless. But Grapes asking people to show a little respect to the men and women who fight to preserve the western culture that rescued you from your shitty third world culture is unforgivably racist.
Zak Meents it’s funny too because the chick who called all hockey players WHITE boys and bullies didn’t get fired even though that was a racist comment
Agreed. There’s an increase of people who toss words into the saying that sticks and stones may break my bones. Seems a lack of critical thinking creates lack of depth or ability to understand view points different from their own because they’re solely basing judgement on emotions. Almost as if they need a hard line stance immediately in order to blame and defend that which they know nothing about because it’s uncomfortable to them or safe? Hope my blabbering makes sense.
Avery isn't right about Wisniewski not dishing out. Wisniewski could fight, he was definitely an offensive defenseman and wasn't really big, but he could fight, he did fight, and he could even be a dirty hitter.
I absolutely agree with him, he'd be great for a new Coach's corner.
Avery could be an amazing host!!!!!!
100% A Biz nasty and Avery show would be a hit.
Interesting point at 18:14 about fighting and concussions.. I'm sure he must've had a couple. I had a bad concussion in high school hockey as a kid.
I absolutely LOVE Sean Avery. Extremely entertaining

"The truth hurts." as they say.

Hockey has become basketball.

How was don cherry racist in what he said? He never targeted a race he implied a statement toward people who immigrate to Canada

How about Sean Avery and Jay Barachil for the next iteration of this “coaches corner”? Would need a different name, but. Sean Avery and Jay Barachil
I would watch Avery between periods
What do sorority girls and hockey players have in common?
They both take showers after three periods.
maybe Avery should be on 1st intermission
him & Tucker
Damn shes reaching on that racist bs
Shes like a male Kasperi Kapanen
A sign of things to come ...
