Dale you are a great father. Sasha you are doing great on the intro, don’t fear the camera. You did great kiddo. God Bless ya no disrespect intended Dale, Sasha. I like the name you gave your XJ Sulley…
I just did this to my 98 yesterday. It seemed to fix the issue I’ve had where I’d put my foot on the gas mainly after being at a dead stop, like being at a light or stop sign and sometimes even just slowing down to turn, and the Jeep would just cut off and struggle to start back up. To jump back up, I’d have to floor it a few times while turning the key and keep my foot on the gas constantly to keep it from shutting off again. Things I changed in the process were my TPS, MAP sensor, and idle air control valve. After none of that fixed it I tried this and so far it's had no hesitation or bucking like before. The strange thing though it takes longer to turn over now. Before this turn the key and it would fire right up. Now I turn the key it cranks doesn't start then I turn it off and try again and it'll fire up on the second attempt.
Sasha’s learning how to be a Doctor, a JEEP Doctor 👩🔧 One of the REASONS you have to hold the socket extension STRAIGHT, is IF it tips to much one way or the other, that WHITE PORCELAIN part of the spark plug can Crack or Crumble rendering the Plug as Useless …!! Good show on progress. ✅
Was there an issue with the spark plug wires? You upgraded those about a year ago and I followed with the same upgrade. Just wondering if I should be on the lookout for any issues with them. Thanks PS- please more XJ videos

Keep her at it, could make her own channel one day, definite Jessie Combs vibes!
I must be watching these out of order. Seems like she grew a foot over night. Beautiful father daughter time.
Yeah. It’s crazy. She’s a young lady now
Awesome.
Thanks!
for bad gas milage on these XJs id susoect one of the O2 sensors, mainly the downstream sensor after the catalitic converter
It doesn’t have any codes. We did replace 1 sensor a bit ago. Perhaps another is in the way out?

I upgraded them on a different 4.0L Jeep. Wasn’t this one 👍
Don't all Jeeps get bad gas mileage?
Haha! Yep
Tip is indeed rusted way more than worn 🤣
