- At Drivenmad, we repair, maintain and upgrade vehicles in our workshop, here in the sunny Algarve, Portugal.
Having hundreds of kilometres of dirt roads, dirt tracks and various hills with ruts on our doorstep, we venture out and test our 4x4’s to the limit (our limit, not theirs )
When we can get one, we will slip in a vehicle review, along with some product testing - who does not want to know which tyre stops the best ?
So subscribe and join our journey as we modify, test and improve our cars in as many ways as possible.

My recommendation would be the night before, mix up one part fabric softener to ten parts water in a spray bottle and spray everywhere the dog hair is and allow to dry over night. The fabric softener will discharge the static charge which is part of what holds fur in the carpet fibers. Also, the diluted fabric softener will make those fibers "softer" and lessen the grip on the fur. The next day, blow out the areas with dog hair. The hair should release much easier than before. If you still have having issues, a rubber dog hair brush while blowing can help.
I love dogs but hate the fur on them.
Oh, use unscented fabric softener. Otherwise with will take weeks of windows down driving and parking before the smell dies down.
My plan was not get a dog :) now he rules the house :) great tips, thank you - just in the process of getting a new car (new to me !), so it will be dog hair proofed before Xavi gets near it 🐕.
Pet fur is the bane of my existence! Subbed
And me - but the cuddle is worth it 😊
Hi Jon and Nath......
Thank you for the product review, very well presented, thank you for posting.
Take care,

Ha ha - you need to be more honest .... 595 update next Friday ( Oh dear oh dear )
Came across you by accident as other people have said you need a Lilly brush and then a boot liner. Great honest video compressed air is so good for car cleaning.
Good call on the boot liner - I more or less never go in the Tcross, it was protected from Xavi, but ( I interrogated Mrs M :) once at the salt flats, Xavi fell in the mud bit, she used the sheet in the back to clean him, but that in turn left the car less protected and the fur ball took grip ! I have done a reasonable job of de-furing it, not perfect yet, but liner now a fitted thing with towels on top ! Luckily at home we have a tiled floor (as you do in Portugal) but the roborock mop jobby was the best purchase we have made, it cleans and mops the whole house while we sleep, need one for the car :)
Have you guys tried an Avalon brush or Lily brush? Both are well reviewed. 👍
Great tip, investigating now ( a dust sheet to start should have been the plan 😭 )
definitely get the lilly brush
@@willzjayvee blowing the budget on an aliexpress special 🕺

The star of the show ....

woof
That's way too much effort for carpet fibers. A brush attached to a vacuum would do it better.
We never use it to be honest !
