I feel like the issue with Khrysalis is not the amount of quests, but rather the amount of mob and D&C quests, it sucks because the storyline is so good too but then you see another mob quest and it's like "Ugh, this again?"

I honestly feel like the worlds are too short and barren nowadays. Even though Khrysalis was tedious to quest through, you have to appreciate how detailed and cool the world is.
Agreed, the atmosphere/world building, and story have yet to be topped in my opinion
I remember doing this world solo back on my ice, life, and storm. Life was the longest but easiest cause I could heal, Ice was hard but a little shorter. Storm, was actually just as long cause I died a lot. Storm was the hardest. This was also done before the nerf and none of my characters had hades or dark moor gear. I also didn't have good pets because this was before the kiosk. Ah, the good old days.
I honestly hate azteca more. Azteca feels longer to me idk why. But khrysalis is close second. I like how some of the areas look in khrysalis, such as sardonyx, moon cliffs, last wood. I do believe it’s too long and there is too much walking. But I really don’t like how azteca looks and I hate the quests there. I always thought- *this is my opinion* that if it’s a harder world it should be shorter and longer if it’s easy. I’m not talking super short like 100 quests. But shorter because if they have 20k it’s gonna be longer than a 10k health boss like Polaris where it’s easy. I like challange. That’s what makes the game fun but too much of it makes it repetitive and boring. Anyways some food for thought. Have a good day :)

Azteca is the absolute worst, I hate everything about it. But I just hate the whole Second Arc so Azteca was really just the rotten cherry on top for me.
Lol I just got to Crescent Beach today and went and did my homework as a break from the game.
I love this world even if it is long. Even if the other arcs have good worlds, I still hold Khrysalis as my favorites in the music, story, texture, etc. The Second Arc was the reason why my first wizard was born in the first place.
Even though It was a hard world, this world is close to being my favorite worlds. I love the aesthetics, the bugs, the music, and the challenge was great. It has an alien vibe to it.
You make some good points though.
Khrysalis just needs to be made easier, like halve all the health of every single enemy please. Enemies in Empyrea have lower health than enemies in Khrysalis it makes no sense.
i remember soloing this world on my fire, triple feinting a boss, and it barely does half their health, so glad they cut the bosses health in half

I loved Khrysalis! It somehow felt really fast for me and I soloed most of it on my death, such a beautiful world, and the story is interesting. Azteca though on the other hand can be destroyed from Xibalba for all eternity for all I care.
the most annoying part about khrysalis part 1 is that every 10 quests the game would bring you back to the last wood defeat the same blue hornets over and over again. i probably wasted about an hour total defeating those things alone.

I soloed khrysalis but that’s not the worst part. I soloed khrysalis on a balance. I had to quit the game half way through khrysalis for about a year before I could come back and finish it lol

@@Tyrone4223 pretty much ur run of the mill kill decks. works for any school if ur built for dps. anything that poses a challenge just go to a tc seller in a later world and buy the spell shield for their school. ez pz
i actually love the khrysalis music and one combat music in particular that i really love. but i also love the azteca apocalypse theme. i have that one on my music player in my castle and it’s so good.
Personally I dont mind the worlds length. Its just how obscnely difficult some of the stuff was. (Looking at you galleries) . If this world got a difficulty rebalance the personally I wouldn't mind it. The story and music are some of my favorites. Its really just the difficulty that bogs down the entire world.

I felt like Khrysalis is just fine, my issue with it is that theres too many defeat and collect quests which makes the world a pain. It’s better then Azteca by far though. Ive done the world 3 times so I’m used to how long it is, Azteca feels longer for me.
i KIND of enjoy khrysalis... the vibe is nice. but it just feels like you’re doing azteca all over again but with shadow magic

I solo most of the world except for sophia darkside the shadow boss in solar arc ghost dog and the final dungeon everything else I solo & I’m a balance wizard shit was a pain in the a*s (Excuse my language)

20 hours? Ye seems about accurate for me. Takes me around 2 days to beat on a speed run, I have soloed it on ice with a may cast heal pet with income heal boost of 120%. But yes the final 4 bosses are rough
Khrysalis is my favorite arc 2 world and my least favorite world is azteca
RIP, I actually enjoyed Khrysalis D: Also I did solo all the way through it xd, tbf the only difficult part for me was the first fight with ghost dog and probably the first fight of galleries not gonna lie. xd
When did you do khrysalis out of curiosity? And what level were you?
@@KaiserNoah I remember when it came out 7 years ago but i didn't solo it back then, my solo of it was as a lvl 90 death wiz all the way up until I beat it at around 103, my solo of the world was also very recent, around mid january I believe If I remember correctly.
@@Phxric That makes sense. My memories are still haunted by pre-Health reduction and Crit Update Khrysalis. It’s actually not as bad nowadays, but it’s still my least favorite world.

When I was 13 I did this world in 2 weeks with waterworks boots and bazaar gear couldn’t solo final boss so I joined with people who were farming
You know how they say a good indicator of past trauma is not remembering certain parts of your life? Well I solo’d the entirety of khrysalis on my ice and I don’t remember any of it
Seen as I did khrysalis 5 times without the health reduction, it's fair to say I hate khrysalis. It was faster when I did it my 6th time with my death bc of the reductions
my death took at least 50 hours solo maybe even 60

I have to take my sweet time with Polaris it's such a good world just to recover from bug world XD and then I rush through mirage XD with a friend as much as possible
I'm solo-ing Khrysalis right now on my life character and man is it brutal.
I actually liked it ngl
Khrysalis quests are fine. I'm really fine with it but Azteca was the real pain for me, I literally felt like i'm about to pass out due to the extreme boring storyline and irrelevantly strong bosses
My list:
1) grizzleheim/wintertusk (not even questionable)
2) dragonspyre (perfect final world disappointing malistair fight but at least i remember when it was hard once)
3) Azteca (yes azteca it is a great atmospheric gorgeous world)
4) celestia (amazing atmosphere and sense of mystery introduced astral magic and crit. but had more potential)
5) wizard city (nostalgic etc but the story is meh but still solid overall)
6) avalon (boring questline but awesome towards the end)
7) mooshu (bamboo roads and poor graphics but good storyline and atmosphere)
8) marleybone (yea yea cool music and graphics nostalgia blah blah but those repetitive roofs are cursed)
9) krokotopia (too old and outdated in every single category)
10) wysteria (boring easy irrelevant world)
11) khrysalis (f*ck this world)
i’ve soloed everything except very difficult dungeons so far and i’m concerned about going into khrysalis
Why complain that the world is long? It makes your membership at least worth the buy while all these other worlds are just incredibly short. There were worlds that I finished literally in one day and wasn't even questing all day, such as Marleybone, Mooshu, Dragonspyre, and even Zafaria.
I prefer long worlds if you asked me. At least it wouldn't seem like I was just zooming past.
Wiz city, Krok, and Celestia all took me 2 days. Literally. And that's cuz I went to work.
This is all calculated by me reading the story of both main and sides.
But the thing is, is that I don't generally have it in me to quest through all of the worlds in that short of a time anymore. Yes, I can still beat Wiz and Krok in a day, but I really don't want to spend 2 out of 4 weeks of my membership doing Khrysalis. I'd rather spend what little money I have having fun in wiz, and not doing Khrysalis tbh.
I soloed thus world on my storm it took a dummy thicc amount of time. Now I am running balance and I am teamed up with a death friend. I just stack blades and feints and the death scarecrows.
When it comes to wiz I always have a questing partner otherwise I get so bored XD plus it's more fun
the least exciting thing you can do is solo khrysalis on a life wiz. Been there done that.
I've soloed Khrysalis a few times, not including some of the bosses that are just too difficult to solo, and I gotta say? Don't solo Khrysalis if you can find a decent team. Either way it takes forever but soloing it takes foreverer. So far I've beaten Khrysalis 7 times and every time except maybe the first it's been awful, and even the first I didn't really enjoy it all that much. I can still sometimes stand to listen to this world's music, but if I do it usually just makes me tired after a while.

Sure did solo most of khrys on my storm :,) excepting a few hard fights like ghost dog and the eclipse tower.
It took me 12 hours just to complete part one.

it’s just way too long and brutal. i just finished it and ive been soloing polaris, which has been so much easier.

How did you do Khrysalis if I may ask, what level and with how many people? I understand it maybe taking that long with the new updates, but still not solo definitely.
@@KaiserNoah oh my bad didn’t see your comment but i have two accounts and i use my side acc 130 death with 113 damage to help my wizs quest on my main acc so the stats are nothing special. i use the 2nd round kill strat and i usually complete the whole spiral in 2 and a half weeks, just finished my ice wizard. two more to go.. im going to work on a myth when they update the spells so it will be even moe quicker 😄
@@itsReeses That's definitely how you did it in 10 hours then. I was talking specifically doing it with 1-2 people at level 100, or solo even. It takes much longer when you aren't powerquesting yourself through it.
You should edit your videos and try to not to just sit in spawn all the time. Not trying to be rude or disrespect. Just an idea to increase attention to the content
I understand what you are saying, but as of right now that will not happen. I am a college student first and a youtuber second, and the amount of time it takes to edit, render, and upload rendered videos is much longer than worth it in my opinion. I understand the raw content isn't for everyone though, and I appreciate the feedback. I would recommend FormalPhantom's videos if you want something of a similar vibe, but more edited and processed.
