This is a great video to show how not to be afraid to experiment.

The metallics take the prints to another level. And you get a lot of fun doing that.

The second one with a lot of green and then white down the middle… after you collaged it… I see the daughter Judy from The Jetsons. 😅
Thanks again for all you do. You are very much appreciated. 🙏🏻

All wonderful! I didn’t expect the metallics to enhance so well. The more muted gold print, #2 I believe, is my fave, very intriguing!!

Lovely results. I've not used metalics much but find the Kuratembe metallic watercolor is fun to add to my prints. Of course it's fine on a 6x6, different working on that large scale!

As usual, Dear Mr. Art, you have inspired! Happy Sunday! Love the combination of stencils and the metallic layering. Gives ‘ho-hum’ prints a new life!

Great work! Are you placing the masks randomly, or are you looking at the actual print to keep certain areas intact?

Although i liked them all, monster #2 is my fave! For some reason, it makes me think of Arthur Rackham and Chinese gold screen paintings in an abstract swirl. Absolutely adore it.

How do you keep such good edges on your prints? My gelli plates build up paint around the edges making ragged edged prints. It's not a terrible thing, but there are times when I wish the edge would stay clean and defined.

I use a moist rag and wipe the edges before printing. Its an extra step, but worth it if you want a clean edge.

@@artwhisperer88 Yes, but what I mean is the gelli plate doesn't release the paint near the edges of the plate. The paint builds up and stays on the plate, instead of pulling up with the print.

@@krisshingo-art try these: 1. clean and oil your plate 2. use more paint along the edges and press harder on the edges 3. use the flip side of your plate 4. buy me a coffee sometime
