    It's essential to only use 1 roll in "airplane mode" so you don't stress your bag too much. Alternatively, roll it in a way so the bag doesn't seal and air can escape.

    • @GatewoodBrown
      @GatewoodBrown  10 месяцев назад +4

      I'd recommend you look at comparable offerings and you'll see it is a fantastic package at that price. This isn't some generic amazon PVC backpack and you'll feel the difference in quality. Absolutely not for everyone's needs though and that is fine! The cheap roll top backpacks can work for certain applications too.

    • @malta7406
      @malta7406 4 месяца назад

      @@GatewoodBrown that was an asshole comment from me, I'm sure it's actually a pretty reasonable price point for durability, build quality, and total waterproofing, especially if there's any kind of warranty. I certainly can't afford it these days, gear like this adds up quickly, but it seems like a very reasonable investment. Thank you for leaving a kind, gentle response. I'll edit my comment, but I would like to defend myself and say I was trying to be critical of the bag and its price point, not of you or your video. However, I pride myself on clarifying and generally being more thoughtful than that, I will do better in the future. Keep doing what you've been doing, and I will practice responding/being more like you. Thanks!

    I live in a place where EVERYONE has one. I am talking everyone and their mothers. There is a river nearby and since those bags float with air still in it they double as a floaty and a way to “transport” your valuables down the river. Perfect way to spend your summer….

    Former Marine here. It actually doesn’t matter how many rolls you do as long as both bands at the top are rolled. That’s what provides the seal. We would all roll ours way more than three times if possible before going out on field ops. Also you def want to get all the air out of it’s going to be a longer trip. It’s saves space in your pack for other essentials.
