- "Colors Are Gone" is an unreleased song by AURORA. Not a lot is known about the song other than the fact that it was registered on various song repertoires. It is unknown what album it was intended for, but it was likely intended for All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend or Running with the Wolves.
On July 29, 2021, a snippet of the song leaked on Soundcloud. The full song leaked two days after.
This song's theme has yet to be confirmed, but fans have theorized based on the lyrics that it is about a dysfunctional relationship, or sexual assault.
Aurora is the artist of my life. Her music makes me remember how it felt dancing around a big fire 10 000 years ago.
I'm 53...I remember when the bands YES and Floyd put out " new" material in the mid 1980s...90125 and A momentary lapse of reason.....
I can hear them both in this song.
AURORA would have been generally accepted by either bands crowd if she opened for them at that point in ....time

Her lyrics......Dylan, Neil Young, Lennon and Waters are her peers.
I can only imagine what her body of work will be in another 10 years.

The part where she sings “and the colours are” sounds a lot like in Awakening where she sings “and she’s going on”

I can totally see it !! I also find that the part shere she sings 'feels like its all inside my mind' sounds similar to the 'feel the water in her body water's never going out' part in awakening.
The two songs give me the same feelings (the only diff is that awakening makes me think of death and this one makes me think of someone) they are both about going on a journey alone. I feel accompagnied by water in awakening and by air in this song ♡

Probably my 100th time listening to this. I'm 53. This is a song I can see.. actually hear, Pink Floyd or Yes doi g in the mid 80s. This is Progressive Rock not Pop. Unique Artist Aurora is.

When was this song written? I find it oddly perfect that all colors "in the mind" have fallen being sung by an Artist who probably can visualize more vivid colors than any other human! I think its contagious because I could see the image in living color half way through the song :)

There are about 80 songs by Aurora, which haven't been released for whatever reasons.
