True
Agree
Yes.... Moren than ever
The blue shirt guy nailed it !
or maybe the actor was really bad at comebacks. he obviously was in the management side so he could've made an excuse. They didn't do their homework before putting up this act.
He was so verbose with his comebacks, I was actually amazed
He speaks a little but his words are strong like "why did the company hire you"
i see what u did there
@@AaryanUpadhyayaWho he did nice acting
This lady and her mates/ partner whoever were brilliant. Calm and composed, the future of India.
Yes
"Then why did the company hire you..?"
2 minute of silence
Mostly females come forward to deal all these stuffs then guys gradually join them. So a great shout out to all the brave and straight forward girls 👏👏👏
Yaaa even I noticed this in all the experiments
Well, if a man would, it would get violent.
@@justtheguy27 partially I agree with your statement... But it's about conveying ur message in best way as possible.
The guy in blue did it, he wasn't violent but made strong statements that made the other guy shut his mouth.
Hope you got me
@@vaishnukumaran162 Yes, for sure. That is true. However, things start to turn sour the minute a man raises his voice. I've seen this first hand... I should've been a bit more specific. Thanks for the response. (:
@@justtheguy27 it is true when woman tries to stop someone he/she argues but when a man tries to stop people get physical
That lady in green so kind hearted I just loved it when she said I am sorry to interrupt you darling 👍
She is just doing her job.
It's shameful that the people on the other table are turning a blind eye to all that behaviour.
sjaizhdbnajusbens shauausbwbk because everyone is racist some show some hide
No it's because they don't want to get into a fight
Because they don't know English 😂😂😂 no offense
xxx xxx may be their English was bad
@@chkrabortysubho well obviously

The lady reacted first and stopped eating, after that those guys reacted
Hats off to the brave lady
This girl is actually a warrior...her words are just priceless ❤🌺🌺🌺
anyway but ndtv raise a very good matter
"What's your choice?" Of NDTV is an magnificent initiative of human mind to know about the reaction of people to Gender inequalities, racial discrimination etc..
I think that this act is done in urdan areas and it would be better if this is performed in rural areas such also...
Thank you
Hahaha so true
"Why did the company hire you" it was this moment that the manager knew he fucked up.
every one debates but the truth is bitter
true that..
Not so bitter. People don’t hire based on skin colour, but it might matter in marriage
@@jatinmulgund9476 not really... for a fairness cream ad, they have to hire someone fair...
@@venkatr56 ha to ye commonsense ki baat hai fairness ki ad mein gora ko hi dikhyange
The lady has a beautiful soul.
She is so kind hearted person.😊
No one talks like this in real life. Discrimination is much more subtle. If you expect these simulated situations to reflect real life situations you are way off the mark. People cannot react so plainly because no one talks or behaves so obviously even if they understand the discrimination. These WWYDs are just Feel Goods to comfort and entertain ourselves.
Fair point very well made
Can't deny this either .....level headed thinking .... unfairly ths s too a truth !
Well said
The simulation is to see the reactions of those around.
So you have to be direct.
Lady react quickly.... very brave girl..Appreciate you my sister
This show is the need of hour .. the actual need is now not at that time ... Please bring it back 🙌
Absolutely great conversation...... She's very calm and explain...
This channel has always been on the right side of the society . Making lives more sensible and bringing reality of India .
Egypt here, respect for your culture
The more common and serious issue is caste discrimination in India. I have gone through all these videos and series Whats your choice but couldn't find anything regarding that. I am being honest. That is what people need the most to see and be aware of.
Caste discrimination yes especially reservation system
Caste started from skin color. Try to learn history 🤣🤣.
@@tradingbull007 Are you serious right now? 💀
Please make more of this, it's 2019, and there's a lot of issues. Good thing there's some real journalism still alive in India to create awareness
you're late, this video was released in 2k15.
@@mritunjay06 i hope god give you some more neurons
She is actually real marvel Super girl....
Big thumbs up for her
The girl, who raised her voice sitting next to the actors, explained us the right way how we should treatment someone.
I am speachless here ,i can not show my happiness in the words...
Not only skin tone affects. As a graduate and a muslim. i have passed until final interviews at IT company and they reject me for wearing hijab and being modest. They need people who is more appearing and revealing..There is another situation also while i was working in a IT company, the manager called me to his office and asked me why u wearing a scarf ? cant you remove it!. Its a little off !..you are beautiful and showing hair and being modern looks goods to you especially you are the main face in office. - I was hurt by this comment. And as days goes by it was unpleasant And i resigned from that company. Since then i havent worked for any company in india. and i gone abroad and worked for a year. now i m back and my parents wants me to find a job here. but i m not comfortable here with the people who wanna change me
Blue shirt guy response was awesome 👌
This is exactly what I would have done..thanks to the girl n that guy who stood up for this..
We need more of a person like you..👍👍👍
The coolness of the lady in green wow.. Just she got the point
Hats off to this social experiment...... Thanks a lot for posting this video . You people are true Indians. Jai Jharkhand.
Plot twist: the woman was also an actor
both of them really raised their voice.this is called democratic India.
The guy in blue quiet all the time and than came out with amazing comment
This will always be my favourite video on the internet
This is a very good experiment. I request you to do these experiments in small towns of India and in regional languages. That will be more revealing.
Heads of to this girl. God bless
The way dude in blue casually combats him LOL. Bravo to all these guys!
In 2021 skin colour matters in india very well than other countries, mostly in love
Can totally relate to this during my job interview added to the color I was fat.... But then again I was one of the final twenty selected out of four hundred applicants in a multi national company and the discrimination was done by the fellow applicants not the interviewers. Twelve years later....... Happily married with a ten year old son.
No one hires an employee on their skin tone. But I can surely say that many judge people on their skin tone. After this video and many other social awareness, judging someone on their skin tone is not stopped. Sometimes I think, are these shows really work to people?
But happy to see such people who take stand.
Great reaction and awesome response from the young lady and young man
only narrow minded people have prejudices on the basis of skintone.
i like dark girls mostly i dnt think people hv such issue if hv then shud check there mental level
This girl 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️ lots of respect
We need more real contents like this Good job 😇NDTV
There are still some real good people in this world.👏
Appreciation for standing by.....👍
I have a comment to make for this video. Racism exists in India much more than any other country. Both in working atmosphere and marriage scenario all the more. Let me tell you the worst affected is the dark male. Because guys are genetically darker than women in general. Lot of guys sitting on top hire fair looking females and guys for job posts irrespective of whether that girl/guy is skilled or not. More so its the fair girl who has all the advantage from the bosses since the older guys on top need some estrogen to keep them going. And those old guys give all this gyan about male-female equality etc while hiring when actually you are insulting a woman or man by not recognizing his/her talent.
Venkatesh Kadri Jocker Bhai ..u r rite. At work place it is very easy for a gal irrespective of the skin color..if she is beautiful or fair than it's so easy for her. If talent was taken into consideration this human wud have acquired the Martian level technology
True
@@siddhisrivastava3777 The comment is true anyways.
In india it's colourism. Racism means discrimination on the basis of race which is not the case. People in India discriminate people of their own race for the skin colour
@@harshitabhuyan8892 different words used. But meaning is the same...discrimination is the crux..no matter what names we give it...
I use to hate Indian guys but I see the real reason of double loving them
night Alien all Indians are not racist, only some Indian are racist. So don't judge on the basis of few people.
I am actually applying a job in Google company in india
Give me best of luck
You guys are awesome appreciate 😊
Banglore people are very good at heart
Almost all NDTV Anchors are white skinned and North Indians.
sukuvar White skinned are only Europeans and Whites others are not white
sukuvar ha ha ha u r 99.99 % correct and ndtv has hired some brownies too which makes u 0.01 % partially wrong 😆😆😆
How can you forget that dirty swine BARKHA DUTT?
North Indians can't do other things .
And I don't see any colour difference between dravid and sehwag.. infact Dravid is fairer than north indian dhoni. What's your problem...
Murali karthik is fairer than Virat.. sucker
NDTV is a Hindi news channel, why would they hire south Indians then?
please do this kind of show again.
my skin is dark too and i face such things too
i tried really hard to be comfortable with my skin color but what to do whenever i think no its ok i hve smthng unique in me then i face such things like - baby u should try turmeric powder with milk or how u will get married who will like u this n that even including my family they suggest remedies too make fair that's y i just hate my skin color n beauty type things
pineapple sharma come to south india here people r very nice and nobody comments on ski colour except the north indians and maharashtrians... and dont listen to them who tell about ur skin colour... I get called ugly moat of the time both online and offline because of my brown skin idk why and I hate it...
thnk u so much mano u r too good so sweet of you i will come to place when i get that chance ....
pineapple sharma don't worry it's too common. All will try to show they don't discriminate on the basis of color but will marry a fair one only
they dont deserve you or your service, be happy
That lady and gentleman are the real life heroes. Huge respect for them.
that's my girl!!
It happens in 2020 too. Fair skin is preferred even for technical jobs for both guys and girls. Plastic surgery is on the rise in Indian cities.
All indians have brown skin stone, the difference is of shade . Some got light brown and some got dark. In whole video I was just thinking that they all are brown so what they are debating for?? I am from New Zealand.
I agree with u sister.. Keep it up.
I iust want a life partner like that lady..She is very polite..The way she said everything... Life would be so easier..
I'm watching this in 2019 😄
Salute to the brave beautiful and gentle girl
Ndtv u r doing a great job
And our celebrities endorsed fairness creams all through our childhood!!
I’m pakistani I applaud the girl in the video for standing up to racism. Skin tone is just based on what amount of melanin you have in your skin nothing else. We shouldn’t give it such importance. You should not be ashamed of your ethnic colour be proud of it.
I like the point of fairness Cream she mentioned
I was working as a property manager in the Gulf because of some personal reasons I came back to India. I am not a engineering background so I am not getting job. I can do the job in property management better than an engineer but I am not getting job in India only because of my education.
Im lil towards huge n i hv faced descrimination on my body type n didnt get thru interview in a company in blr...the hiring manager told me tht how vl run around all day being in recruitment team coz im huge...shamefully yes these issues exist...i feel inferiority complex at times...no body understand wat a girl goes thru on body shaming
That girl 🙏🙏🙏🙏 respect 🙏🙏🙏
Salute from my heart sister
3:50 Apply cold water to the burned area !!
Need more of these videos
What an amazing concept and seriously appreciate the women who did not keep quite and stood so strong in what she believes in. NDTV as always 👌 gets into the real matter of the society and just some political nonsense all the time.. 💙 Rasisim exist and infact its spreading like fire 🔥 in the 2019 unfortunate reality.
“ Why did your company hire you ?” That’s the time he realised he fucked up, PERIOD 😂🤩
Please start this show again..
need season2 plz
Also you should make a video on how boys are getting rejected, ditched...on basis of their salaries and skin colour...
I love this show
Plz do more of social awareness .rit now we need it
This dark and fair skin discrimination really happens in companies in Bangalore as I’m into marketing and I recruit people. I have heard from candidates that many candidates get rejected for their looks, they even tell me how fair skinned people even with no communication skills get recruited so easily for a higher pay and they are left with no choice except to apply for marketing and call center jobs.
Plot twist: The job profile needed was of a tall, lean and a fair woman :3
I like everyone be it fair or dark just bring it on . dark and dusky brown are one of the best skin .
Love the attitude of the guy in the blue shirt
Even am also rejected for skin color and localites in Bangalore ,,, it happens now also ,,, it's true
You go girl 👏👏👏
You go girl. The green suit girl.. wow.
Well said by the lady about fairness cream advertisements and actors who endorse them.
