    North American schools need to give youngsters a much more variety of sports to try at an early age. The emphasis seems to be football, baseball, basketball and here in Canada also hockey. They may not stick with track and field, but all the running and jumping is great cross fit training anyways. Europeans appreciate track and field so much more. You would think with the population in North America, we would dominate the Olympics with the huge pool of potential talent. Not only is T+F a much less costlier sport ( for the most part ) , can be done just about anywhere and a good way to get our kids ( and adults ) into shape.
