This online course looks better than when my university wasn’t onlin
It’s MIT we’re talking abt

@@zealous5211 just that lmao
This is the main problem of Indian colleges of technology and engineering that they do not give much practical knowledge and just make students learn through the theory,
That's very great MIT!!
Keep it up👍👌👏👏👏
that's with literally every college except top few
@@borgir6368 can you please name those top few ??
You sure dude?. Cause what you've said doesn't really apply to many government colleges. Especially the IITs when it comes to tech fest
@@pratyushagarwalOP how do you know that?? Are you an IITian??
@@shubhamralkar5408 i replied to you with a link with top colleges guess youtube removed it
damn receiving a package like this would be a dream come true for me

*MIT:* oh, virtual going to be worse, we are doomed.
*8 yo making a full-blown rocket with only youtube tuts:* do you even lift bro?
That's kind of what I was thinking.. As a FIRST mentor, I'm glad that MIT figured out a good way to overcome the challenges of teaching remotely, but they know FIRST has elementary and junior high kids building robots like this that perform similar tasks/missions OUT OF LEGOS!

@@Kyle-xk2rb My team is FTC, but we share spaces with an FRC team as well.
MIT never dissapoints .
We need one that sprays disinfect really

I thought MIT just announced a robotics competition where we all could participate, and the rest is history..
Me too..

😂me too that's why I'm here, i was looking for online competitions.
My college makes me write code on a piece of paper, take photos of it and upload it.
Doing this at home, I'd probably end up having so much fun building, that I'd fail everything else.
No.
That sums up my college career.

being mechanical eng this makes me realise how poor my education system is
we just stuck with boring books
This is awesome! MIT always once step ahead to give not only theoretical knowledge but practical as well. I really hope this class would be given on Edx in the future. :)
that's great, it really encourages side projects at home too
Proud of graduating from Mechanical Engineering at this institute. I hope everyone succeeds in their studies.
Im from the Philippines and I envy these students.
Yes. We're graduating not having hands-om experiences
@@adeptatlearning3907 which country are you from?
@dk bruh you start with arduino if you want tho
Texas A&M engineering student here, super glad to see teachers thinking outside the box with teaching their students. Amazing hands on teaching elements.

You should start selling this kit, many would be happy to buy it, and watch the lectures online.
Every university should do this such a great course and learning experience
The college I went to would never do this... Thanks MIT for providing practical knowledge even though the classes are online.
Wow....wish I could join this... They are so talented 😍
Congratulations MIT 💕
Does this feel real! The teaching experience. The enthusiasm of the teachers. I'm blown away
It will be awesome if we have a world virtual robotics competition for students and enthusiasts all over the world
Meanwhile my university teachers
Am i audible for 15 to 30 minutes
that's why people wanna go to MIT
if this is worldwide ......thats will be cool......
Totally agree
Yes
Damn , This is so amazing
Amazing project!
Meanwhile in India, copy from lab manual, give viva.Thats it lab over🤦♂️
Which college bruh?
This sounds great. Wow.
Looks like insane fun.
Thank you for sharing☺️❤️
cries in Indian unis
All they can give you for home is assignments.
I feel you
I live in India. I have designed a robot on tinkercad software but I am unable to experience building a robot because I can't buy the components
sad
Same.i'm in iran
Which college?
I love Mr. Winter's ring jumper!
Just saw he has an rsr poster as well.
I will get into MIT one day can be tomorrow or next year or more but I won't give up
That's my dream to have a workshop with bulk of measurement tools, 3D printing, high spec's Laptop, sensors, and arduino others peripherals, but all of it only dream and never be realize
Great stuff! wish i could take in~!
This is going to be fun to watch.
The instructors seem much younger than I expected.
very cool proyect! we like to follow and have fun.thanks to share.
Love this!

This is so great, I wish I could participate
Same here.
You can participate virtually. Now it have begun.
@@rustamyadav1790 how ? could you provide a link or any info ?
Me and my friend is making the same thing but without university help!
If I am in South Africa I can able to apply to learn at mit online or must be in USA to qualify for education.
Wow could I order this kit
University in my country cannot do this
I want to be part of this...
i wish i could be there
Is it possible to put the 2.007 open course on youtube like 6.832?
i loved this video
We, humans, can choose to respond to any circumstance the way we want it to be. But it happens to be that most of us don't practice that power given to us.
Elaborate
Pls how do we participate
Can grade 10 students take part. I am not in MIT as of right now
Are they selling this kit somewhere ??
Humanity has the technology now to create a fleet of solar-powered excavation vehicles and automatons to shape a significant portion of the lunar surface into an enormous Peace symbol that can be seen by everyone on Earth, akin to the Nazca Lines in Peru.
Is it ironic that you want to use a symbol related to nuclear disarmament in space?
Teacher like this is why I never give up on my study
1:25 Better use your safety glasses while codding your Arduino
Lmfao ye the ide is gonna explode
Loooool
Lmao
hope i can join you guys but i live in india ( i love electronics :)
Hi everyone, My self is Muhammad Islam and I belong to Pakistan. I m currently doing Electrical Engineering from Fast national university . I have completed my 6th semester and I also want to work with u guys. I am a hardworking student. I also want to tell u that we worked on a semester project which was related to a single-axis solar tracking system in First-semester. I m interested to learn more new things
I envy Tolu 🥺
Students of Amos Winter : guys, I think, Winter is coming.
I wish someone would gift me a kit like this instead of t shirts😇
This is completely my dream but I just don’t know how to begin
Study hard, get straight A+'s. And most importantly: ENJOY.
what micro-controllers are they using for these robots?
Arduino
Avr, but it's some sort of a embedded system. So they just did the code and mechanic parts
Many be arduino
Who wants to cry ..?
Welcome to nerds world🤓
My college: ohh nooo how are we gonna teach kids virtually :(
Well anyways lets write code on a word document.
i want to be there.
Cool man
is it international i am desperate to join
I'm relieved that Michael Reeves dropped out of college...I don't wanna see him build a robot that would dominate humanity
So in MIT you do this?
❤️❤️ wholesome ❤️❤️
I'm cs student I'm completely virtual being
Are the recorded lectures and video available online?
Hey!
at 1:47, does he have a stream deck lmfao

I guess Rohan Roy was also one of the top ten in USA's high school project competition
interesting
Study from home like that just applies in MIT, not works in indonesia wkwk
Looks more like electrical engineering
humans already working for robots...
Where on earth 🌍 has my country got it wrong 😑………My only regret in life wud be die without engineering knowledge like this from MIT. Please MIT adopt me ooooooo I want nothing but knowledge right now………
