If he and he's crew say get it done get it done simple, they done my injectors, egr and manifold clean! It is costly upfront but then practically your driving a new car worth every cent
Mine 300k lol I'm actually doing major service rite now my injectors are fine. Ot blowing any smoke at all no noisy injectors. But I'm doing all rear wheel bearing and all bushes
140 thousand k is more likely the case. Toyota advises changing the heat shield washers between injector and cylinder head every 40k but it's opening Pandora's box.
Here in South Africa we seem to get much, much higher km before we change injectors. Son in law's Hilux bakkie/ute now just short of 600 000 km. First change of injectors at around 450 000 km. My 2012 prado 150 now heading for 180 000km still on first set. What I noticed when visiting our son in Aus is that the Ausies tow very large trailers/boats/caravans. Perhaps that is the difference. We also travel long distances on gravel roads in very hot (or cold) conditions.
I won't be able to sleep tonight after watching this. I've got a 2009 with 300k on the clock
I’ve got a 2008 with 401k original injectors
I've a 2008 with 340000 km on it. Going strong but i'm taking your advice with injectors. Thanks for the knowledge
Really clear and well explained tutorial.
New to Chanel all the way from Swaziland (Eswatini)
I've just learned alot thank you

Hey Anthony what are the engine load and feedback values for the newer 2012 Hilux 1KD injectors with the DLC coatings? Excellent video as always!

Injectors aren't that exxy, just get them done surely.
1500.00 for Mn triton injectors before any labor
Sigh . 40,000kms is like every 2years for some of us to change expensive injectors....sigh...so basically hilux are high maintenance ..not unbreakable

You don't change your injectors every 40,000kms.
