If you're wondering what the last anomaly is, it's was the creepy eyes on the 2nd poster 22:54 Which was very difficult to spot, especially since Tom felt so hesitant because he was really close to the exit
Having played through the game myself and getting every anomaly, I was looking for all the ones I remembered. The creepypasta eyes was definitely one I was looking out for and I saw it immediately, lol. It was frustrating when he was operating on the vent click sound and confirmation bias was seeing him through.
dang! it was actually pretty satisfying seeing Tom spot the smaller and smaller things he'd mised before and he was SO CLOSE on that last run. o7 riperoni Tom, lost forever in the creepy concourse
I love how Tom clearly knows that whenever he sees something different he has to turn around and go back the way he came, but everytime he sees something different (a door opening, a set of stairs, an 'invisi-boy') he just goes right up to it, and when it resets him he's confused and asks if he's completed the game. I love Tom with all my heart but he's the reason ladders are painted yellow.
at the final attempt, when you reached 8. the blue poster with the woman on it was scribbled in a scary way instead of printed. You over looked that specific difference I believe at least three times from the footage you gave us here.
I love the editor throwing in the ones they spot that Tom doesn't, it two-fold tells me when the thing he missed was something he actually saw and just missed versus something he never saw or if it was so subtle not even the editor noticed while also just making the sometimes tedious parts of checking "normal" hallways go faster.

I honestly don't know what the accurate term would be, but this horror is the one of those that... How to explain it... The fear of repeating patterns and normality turning into the abnormal. Not supernatural necessarily, but the existential dread where something is out of place. Like walking into a room and feeling that something is wrong, only to realize that while you were gone, all the ceiling lamps have moved like half a meter to the east. Or waking up and everyone you know has a slightly different face. Or your beloved cat has now green eyes instead of yellow ones. Small changes that doesn't mean anything in of themselves or is even unnatural if they were like that from the beginning. The familiar turning into the unfamiliar.
I feel like these sorts of things are more "Lovecraftian horror" than the giant cosmic monsters that are called "Lovecraftian horror." Reminds me of the phrase in the Matrix, "like a splinter in your mind-driving you mad."
Never expected this here! I'd love to see more! Quick tip if you do go back: you can turn around to see what you did wrong to get an idea of what you're looking for
I kept rewinding and still don't know. Even after looking at all the posters after seeing your comment. Maybe Tom can take solace in knowing he's not alone poor perception.
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1567 OOOOO I have been seeing this game float about and it looked super interesting, but knew nothing about it. Tom would you consider playing the new Lovecraftian sherlock holmes game with Simon? seemed right up you guys' alley and i absolutely loved your Call of Cthulhu and Sinking City playthroughs!
This game took me just under an hour and a half to complete. Some of the anomalies are very difficult to see and it was only thanks to a friend that I saw them at all.
I'll be the only one to defend Tom here, that was hard lol. Going by how the editor didn't point out most mistakes im assuming they didn't see anything during half of the fails either. Same as the comments :p
Captain Obvious ‘wins’ again! Well done Tom! :-) This was honestly fun and not infuriating to watch, as I missed plenty he did. Editor had a lot of fun with this one :-)
This is a great but also very cursed game for ol' 'no read good' Tom to play. I'm hoping he'll play I'm On Observation Duty too at some point, those games are weirdly fun
Just watching Tom say "Its a Spot the difference game" and then proceeding to never read anything, classic Tom.
He was hired to lead, not to read!
Let's see how well Angory "They pay me to lead, not to read" Tom does lol
He should of brought ben, there is clear ben work that needs doing
update: not well at all
imagine if tom read good
And he shall lead us to Exit 0 without fail!

Yeah, I had to go back and double check then I was almost yelling "THE EYEEEEEES!"

Yes! Mr minus one perception finally plays a game where you have to notice things! YAY!
def at least a minus 5
@@originalgamer no, that's Ross
When the man turns the corner walking fast, and that music kicked up, I just about lost it laughing. That was perfect timing.
That ending though lol I don't blame you man.
Tom: "I'm trying to keep an eye out for something different"
The game: "TURN BACK TURN BACK TURN BACK"
Tom obsessing with the “clink” even when real obvious stuff is happening is pure Captain Distracto
Can we get a members only uncut version? It will probably be around 10 hours.
dang! it was actually pretty satisfying seeing Tom spot the smaller and smaller things he'd mised before and he was SO CLOSE on that last run. o7 riperoni Tom, lost forever in the creepy concourse
Tom is the only one I've seen playing this game that has run out of unique anomalies before getting to the exit.
The perfect game for Tom "Dr. Observo" Angory
Yes, Tom, I too find it easiest to notice small and difficult to spot details while running as fast as I can at all times!
"Are you sure about that?" the biggest scare in this video. I jumped
Game: "Turn around when you see an anomaly"
Door opens by itself
Tom: "Seems perfectly normal to me!"
this woulda been a good tom/lydia game
Yes it seems perfect for that now that you mention it
Maybe if she wears her special glasses.
@@RubelliteFae The head bobbing, motion blur, AND Tom's shaky mouse honestly made me feel sick the first minute
Fingers crossed we get it

That's odd. Usually, the blood gets off at the second floor.
that poster sliding in at @17:35 is perfect tom moment
7:29 "doors are looking pretty alright" proceeds to miss the one with the handle in the middle of it
22:54 Oh Tom. Poor, sweet, Tom. The poster.
Even after you have put this comment I still can't see it....
8:55 You can kinda see it, but it's normal face doesn't have big black spots for eyes.

I'd lose this game, too
Ah, good! I was wondering what it was in the final one!

I went to the hospital because of water poisoning, thanks very much.

Not me yelling at the screen on the last one "The poster TOM, TOM the POSTER! PLEASE!"
He never actually looked at them before, how could he tell if they were different?
You and me both, he was so close to noticing it!
tom trying to brute force the game, its top tier tom.
Lydia needs to join in on this game! Bet her special glasses would help.
It's always the doorknob in the middle of the door that everyone seems to miss

Tom trying to speed run the spot the difference game without actually playing the game
I'm sure impatient sprinting down the corridor will be the perfect strategy for this one 😂
Poor Josh has it worse than us, he has all of the footage
Oh man… yet another one of those games I never expected to see on this channel and I had to do a double take at first.
This is my favorite kind of horror game. Jumpscares are rare and the main gameplay is spotting the differences. Fun game, and really fun to watch too.

Whoever edited this deserves some kind of award for audio ^_^
Pause and leave a guess on how long it'll take Tom to figure out the ceiling sign. My guess is minute 15.
I knew when the music picked up at the end there was no way Tom was going to complete it.
The second poster in the end! You were looking at it!
God, one I noticed was a darkening in the ceiling, like wet tiles
Edit: Oh god he saw another one of them later on
please play "I'm on Observation Duty"
I see we have an Adventure Line(TM)
The difference between this and the markiplier one is so staggering 😅
not even 2 minutes in nd tom suggests just randomly going backwards and forwards to brute force the game, wouldn't expect anything less from tom!
17:36 lol at least the sign following him is subtle.
Honestly not sure how Tom missed a "missing door"....
Anyone know where that sound effect music at 6:30 comes from?
lol, looking right at the creepy eyes at the last moment, too.

Since you were so great at this one. Theres another game called Midnight Monitor Aldercourt that plays the same xD

When I beat this game I had only gotten it wrong about 5 times. Tom really doesn't have the patience for this type of game lol
Dunno why I kept waiting for a wooden boy jumpscare with baited breath
I've seen several people play this game and everyone moans about the posters. Tom just runs right by them.
The definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result

This map is a loop mwahahahaha 😈
"I don't know what we missed" he says after constantly skipping ahead so the viewers aren't even given a chance to see anything.
That Ending, Classic Tom.
U know what i miss, the fart reverb misplay sounds from when Tom played dicey dungeon. I wish that was back in all of the Tom misplays.
As a creepy person watching, id like you to be nicer to the man in the door, he's just another viewer

I, too, am losing my mind watching this video. Slow down, my man!
Was the last one the eyes on the blue poster? They looked fuckin' huge
Be great to make Simon or Lydia play this game together, ones the driver the other the spotter.
I really feel the sprint button was doing him no favors
Nooo so close. It was the eyes on the poster of the girl at 22:55 you briefly looked over.
