She didnt prepare Zeke for the life that they were in and Mecca exploited that.
Lorenzo prepared Cane Dru and Diana
Raquel prepared Kanan
And Tasha prepared Tariq. Even
Walter in Book IV prepared Claduia and Victor Flynn.
Monae lying to Zeke played a huge role in his death.
Even worse; Monae has the audacity to blame Lorenzo for hiding a secret for 3 months when she has been lying to the entire family for 20 Years

Lorenzo deserves an apology too.
Monet having Lorenzo killed might’ve been the beginning of the the ending for the tejada family/business because Lorenzo was the one who cared about family but all Monet cares about is herself and her children can see that
Lorenzo was the glue that held his family together and the Tejada family will be affected. Cane humble himself and appreciated his father Lorenzo for his loyalty and protection to his family even tho Cane Lorenzo were beefing.
Gordo saying "bleed bitch" after he slid Lorenzo's throat was hilarous i'm sorry 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂it was mostly his tone of voice and the delivery when saying it lmaoooo

I fear Dru is going to be on a real downward spiral due to not thinking straight and Lorenzo’s death is gonna make that worse. People forget Dru is one of the most deadliest on the show and underestimate him just because he’s gay
How Raq and Monet can just lie to they sons face with no soul is wicked to me.
Lorenzo had more swag and power in prison but he loved his family. No he was not perfect, but he protected his family. His death was inevitable but his death was caused by the hands of his own wife. The Tejada family will never be the same after this.
Good and interesting commentary, as usual! Most of Monet's problems and motives were selfish and self inflicted. Monet cared so much for Zeke she lied to him and her family his whole life. He didn't even know his real age. Zeke seemed more like the ticket out of the game more so than "mother's love". Monet exterminated every man she ever dealt with because of her own selflessness. Now that she got "Scooby doo and the gang" as her primary work force, those meddling kids need to watch their backs.
Lorenzo definitely had an old school mentality and the wardrobe to match. RIP to him....simping ain't easy.

Nobody is talking about Tariq roll. Knowing that Monae won't ask him to figure out who killed Lorenzo he will immediately that she set him up and Tariq will use it as leverage for more power.

Dru’s boyfriend killed his father. There’s no way that he didn’t know that was Dru’s father if they grew up together. I’m curious how Dru will react when he finds out his lover killed his father.

I really believe Diana is the smartest and most dangerous Tejada. Don’t underestimate her! Although she doesn’t want to be in the game, and hasn’t even been considered, she could be the one to lead the Tejada family.
Monet really triflin for how she went about having that man killed. Just so gross. And it’s comin back on her.

To be honest I think it’s a waste. Lorenzo was built to be like this kingpin for a season and a half and for him to die before we got to see him flaunt his status like just seemed like a missed opportunity to me

Both Lorenzo and monet were right and i felt those scenes. Yeah Lorenzo was right with bringing zeke to this, and about Mecca role in this. Yet monet is right with Lorenzo. Wait let me backtrack a bit
Monet didn't get the chance to tell the truth about zeke. She had to give up zeke due to her father didn't want her to be a young mother as a teen.
Diana meddling put a pause on monet telling the truth. Yet dru told diana she's always in people business don't look into the bag. It was diana looking into the bag that led Lorenzo thinking he killed mecca.
Monet is right because Lorenzo saw for months monet grieving the loss of zeke and he waited long to tell the truth.
Monet shouldn't have lied. She had plenty of time to tell the truth she has 3 kids since Zeke.

Had the veracity been expressed by her, Zeke would not have sought the assistance of Meecha, and her grip on the affections of Zeke would not have dwindled in parallel with the progression of the episodes.
