Micah poisoned Dutchs mind and even in the later parts Dutch cares for Arthur deep down he just went crazy and couldnt admit it to himself that he was wrong clinged on to anything he could/had but his face says it all when he leaves Arthur to die
Dutch was on an angry rampage. Bill wouldn't go against him, and Michah pretends to have his side. Arthur would nay say him, as would Hosea. "You sound like Hosea, I miss....himmmm". He couldn't bear the fact that he was losing, everything. And wanted to die in a blaze of glory.
@Shahriar Tahmid Rownok nope its from the train job from the gabg share its hardly two thousand but from the train job was 10 thouand bigger than the gang original share and they never touched blackwater until epilogue
I can’t see Sadie running away with the money. Unlike Micah she cared for the gang at least to an extent and plus she was so focused on revenge on the O’Driscolls that I think money was the least on her mind. As for Charles, he is way too honorable to just take the money and scram. He would at least let Arthur know he has it.
I would imagine it is hidden in a highly populated place that requires a whole gang to retrieve. Not just one or two person. In the rdr2 epilogue, dutch/micah created a whole new gang just to retrieved the money. And it made so much noice that both sadie/charles immediately locate them.
I thought that was funny nod to the first game. I like to think Bill ate really well under Dutch but then when he went off on his own and found it harder to get as much food 😂😂😂
Indeed. It would have been ten times better then robbing a train again😑. Going back to where it all began it’s perfect. Also the perfect moment with most pinkertons stationed in roanoke ridge and with all the troubles between the indians and the goverment. It was now or never. But there is just one small problem: MICAH THE RAT!!
That would've been the perfect ending Something like this The remaining gang members, bill, javier, dutch micah arthur charles sadie charles and john get on their horses ready to go to blackwater, the screen fades to black for 3 seconds then it shows the gang sneaking into blackwater, splitting up and taking down and pinkertons or blackwater cops quietly, like Arthur being with john micah and dutch going to said money location while sadie javier and charles Stay on lookout but then after finally getting the money micah being the rat he is mentions that the pinkertons are on the way, also stating that he was talking to them, arthur being angry at him with dutch not even saying a word, both the enforcer and the leader then blow off micahs limbs and head with shotguns, then they head outside only to find agent milton and ross surrounding the place with the whole pinkerton agency, getting ready to shoot, john arthur and sadie on the front side charles bill and javier on the left with Dutch going up front saying one last score john and arthur take the first 15 shots taking down 2/3 of the pinkertons, javier and bill crack out 5 pieces of dynamite throw them into the crowd, watching the dynamite destroy the bodies javier is calmly like hijo de puta sadie shoots with one hand while the other uses throwing knives to destroy their eyes knocking down almost every single agent charles then whips out the fire arrows while arthur and sadie both whip out the explosive arrows and finally kill all the agents in the area just then milton and ross appear from the shadows smiling menacingly just for fun milton shoots sadie in the chest dutch and the others quickly runs after milton and ross while arthur stays to comfort sadie and fix her wound Edit:this is an alternate timeline where in the story arthur never meets downes or gets tb Sadie in pain tells arthur how her husband was always there for her and how she would never love someone again she has gotten to know arthur as the best man ever just like jake arthur then fixes her wound telling her youll be fine gurl then the 2 of them share a kiss so Amazing that it made god smile while john hurries over to Arthur telling him to hurry before milton and ross get away arthur tells sadie to wait and hell come back while the 2 brothers corner milton and ross in an alley the 2 agents not showing any fear john and arthur load up their revolvers cue dead eye sound john and arthur say their final words to the agents "rest in peace" Dutch finally catches up to them seeing all those dead agents made him smile and he says "we did it, we are free, we can go to tahiti now" and something like uncle sam can kiss my ass" the gang members all come together getting on their horses taking one last look at blackwater and ride away from the great plains and they all shout outlaws for life, but as they ride away ross apparently survived the shots and watching them all ride away saying "i will get you van der linde you havent seen the last of me especially you john marston" The end Edit:bill would leave to start his own gang in new austin, javier would go back to mexico, Arthur and sadie end up dating for a while then they both got married telling each other that whatever happens they will not abandon each other or get killed Dutch started moving around the place eventually starting a new gang in tall tress John gets to live peacefully with jack and abigail as a family until more recent events arise but thats another story to tell
Jack is known to Milton as he saw him with Arthur Kieran was with the O'Driscols Sadie (if we are talking about later in the game) killed o'driscols in Saint Denis
@skullpull 101 It was definitely more than 20 000, since John had 20 000 after he paid off his debts and he also probably shared it with Charles and Sadie
No one could have done it, even if they were not wanted by the law. If you read the first newspaper of the game you will see that an article explains that Blackwater was in confinement and nobody could enter or leave
3:45 One thing that always bothered me in this chapter is how they keep talking about how the gang is doomed if they ever ride all out together and yet in the second to last misson they're all riding like a gang in Saint Denis in broadlight with no disguise whatsoever.
I know that after chapter 5 Micah was already betraying the gang but he was right. The money in blackwater was their last hope at that point. They should have gone and get it, especially since the pinkertons knew that the gang was somewhere in roanoke ridge and probably had most of their troops stationed there. It was a golden oppurtunity, but then again you have Micah leaking information to milton and Ross, but I doubt he would tell them that since he was opsessed with that money.
Micah only told the Pinkertons anything after they got back from Guarma and he was apparently captured. On the boat back, Micah suggests that it would be a good time to get the Blackwater money, but Dutch _still_ doesn't want to even though the Pinkertons probably wouldn't expect it. I think that it's pretty reasonable for Micah to have betrayed the gang at this point because Dutch just kept repeatedly getting the gang into worse and worse trouble. Maybe he was wrong to ask to get the money back when they were in Horseshoe overlook, but _eventually_ it became a solid idea!
In all fairness, I can see why Dutch sided with Micah. Dutch knows that Arthur spoke to the Pinkertons down by the river in chapter 2. Then in Chapter 6 he comes to camp after speaking to Milton again, and accuses Micah, who Dutch never saw or heard him speak to the Pinkertons.
I didn't even think of that you're right Dutch literally said I just met guys by the Ripper and chapter 2 and spoke to them and then chapter 6 I just saw agent Milton Dutch
@@reySRB At the end of the game if you go for the money, you will go to the location and pull the box in a cave, but will be stopped later... Before you start the final mission, you can go to the same place and find that box, but you won't be able to pull it out...
YourFellowMemester, we’re talking about the blackwater money. You might have gotten it confused, but the money you take from Dutch’s chest in the go for the money ending is actually just his bag of uncle sam’s cut of taxes, and the American Venom money John gets is the stuff from blackwater.
At the end of Chapter 4, we were meant to go back for the money instead of robbing the Lemoyne National Bank. Some Rockstar developers have said that there are ‘secret triggers’ to get old missions that were cut, however I don’t think anyone’s found them yet. Originally Arthur and Charles were somehow going to sneak into Blackwater and get the money out, then New Austin would be Chapter 5. However, Arthur probably was still going to die.
Micah Askin Arthur "was you followed????" While he himself was talking to the Pinkertons. I'm sure he would have brought the gang all the Blackwater cash back lol
I really need to play the story again. I missed a LOT of these dialogues that really fill in the story. Seemed like whenever I hung around camp people kept telling me to go out and hunt for food or whatever. Didn't see people talking to each other much at all.
To all the people in the comments asking themselves why didn't Dutch send Trelawny, Kieran or Sadie to go and get the money, as they didn't have a bounty on them, here are the answers: 1.-They didn't send Trelawny because of pretty understandable trust issues, the guy's a literal conman and trickster, and he also has left the gang multiple times, so it's pretty obvious why they didn't send him to go and get that amount of money. 2.-They didn't send Kieran because of OBVIOUS reasons. He was an O'Driscoll and nobody in the gang trusted him, they didn't even let him to leave the camp, so they're obviously not going to send a former O'Driscoll that they recently captured to get the money. 3.-They didn't send Sadie because she had been in the gang too little time, like 2 months, and if Dutch and Hosea didn't tell anyone else the location of the money, not even Arthur or John, who were like sons for them, they're just not gonna tell a widow they met 2 months ago.
Yeah but it still makes sense for them to take a gamble on Sadie or Trelawny when the other option (the one they took) is to just abandon the money all together.
Micah was a selfish guy who didnt care about anyone else but himself, he used the gang to rob a bank so "they" could have money but in reality, he only did it to benefit himself. After pinkertons captured him, i think they offered him money so he started working secretly for them.
Do you not realize that it's like 60°-70° at horseshoe overlook and you have Arthur in his winter apparel??? He does get hot and it decreases his health.
Interesting how Micah was trying to turn the gang against Dutch at first, then was the one later to be talking about how they all needed to stay "loyal." He was just trying to play every angle he could until he found one that worked. I never realized that even Dutch didn't seem to trust him at first, at least until Micah started to play the role of stroking his ego.
Somebody tell me how Dutch still trusts Arthur at the end of Chapter 5 when he is considering a famous chess move and then when Chapter 6 hits, he just calls Arthur a rat.
He should’ve told him. There’s no way it could’ve gone wrong. In one scenario Micah dies getting the money. In another he takes the money for himself and flees which wouldn’t make any difference besides no more Micah. And in another he gets the money and brings to the gang. He can’t go wrong
@@doingcigs "Why would he want more?" It's like you've never heard of the concept of greed before. Plus, Micah's not exactly the type of person to do things sensibly. Remember, he killed a lot of people of Strawberry just to get his guns back.
@@doingcigs If he has the money, why wouldn't he? He's a selfish, vicious sadist even at his best. It's left very ambiguous as to when Micah betrayed or started thinking about betraying Dutch and the gang. After all, if you go back to his camp near Strawberry you can see that Micah, for some reason, left behind Dutch's bounty poster and this is still Chapter 2.
Thomas LaChance not saying she would. But if I was Dutch I wouldn’t trust her at the time. Send a newly widowed woman to retrieve money for a gang that she’s only known a few weeks? If she takes the money and runs there’s really no way for the gang to go after her, being on the run and all.
Micah always wanted the gang broken up, its one thing he constantly reiterates when you're with him. About how hes used to running in a gang of just 3. It's more about his greed, if Micah had his way he would cut off half the gang giving himself more money. I don't think he sold the gang out since the beginning but he was always looking for a way to disrupt how it was built
There’s also a question of trust. What stops them from just taking the money for themselves? Most of the gang members weren’t in the gang for too long to prove their loyalty.
By chapter 6, it was Micah's gang, not Dutch's. And that's fucked. If Hosea was around, he woulda stopped that backstabbin fuck in his tracks....damn this game fucked with the feels: hatred, Sorrow, hatred, rage.
imagine if rockstar made story dlc thats takes place after chapter 6 where you play as micah and form a gang and get the money from black water. it can also show when and why Bill and javier left dutch and micah
This game really needs a DLC where the main story has a secret ending where Micah is killed in Strawberry and the Van Der Linh Gang makes it to Tahiti.
It's strange how Micah's hair is darker whenever he isn't wearing his hat. If anything you'd think it would be the other way around given the lack of exposure to light.
Should have sent Trewlany with maybe Sadie as he wasn’t known and neither was Sadie and Trewlany seemed to be able to go into Blackwater as found out about Sean there.
I just realized that Dutch could send Sadie to black water since she wasn’t there during the Ferry Job so she could easily pick up the money and head back to camp.Anyone else agree with this idea
I know Micah was just gonna take the money and run but I think he had a point about Dutch not collaborating with anyone about it. I’m pretty sure he was trying to wait for the right time to grab it for himself
im replying to 3 years comment, but anyway. if micah ran away with the money, that woulda save the gang for a long run. idk how long dutch remain sane even with hosea around, but at least minus micah, things could end up better
People are saying " oh just get *Insert character* not at the Blackwater massacre" . but the thing is the money was stashed in blackwater and their was a lot of it , a hell of a lot and Pinkertons were everywhere in Blackwater so if someone walked into Blackwater and was getting a massive ass amount of money or just suspiciously retrieving small amounts of cash from the same spot . The Pinkertons would catch what's going on very quickly.
I've always wondered why Dutch doesn't just send one of the women to retrieve the hidden money. Or even Trelawney, who was literally walking around in Blackwater during the Sean rescue mission.
I would've liked it if the last mission was the gang going for the blackwater money and then Micah, Dutch, Javier and Bill left the rest of gang while taking the money with them
I truly honestly believed that beneath the ass-hole exterior, Micah was a good guy and that the game would end with Dutch turning on the gang from going crazy and Micah and Arthur becoming allies and trying to save the gang the way Dutch never could.
I think it's a bit presumptuous to call Micah "a good guy", but he's definitely very aware of what's going on with the gang and how Dutch is steering them wrong when everyone else isn't. I think that Arthur and Micah could've been allies, and that Micah genuinely likes Arthur, but Arthur is dead-set against trying to be friendly with Micah (and there are definitely reasons for him to dislike Micah (like the racism and the bullying and getting himself into trouble--Not that Arthur himself doesn't also engage in those last two things), but Arthur is mostly suspicious of Micah (before there's reason to be) and genuinely comes off as jealous of how Micah gets Dutch's attention.
in a way i kind of agree with micah that at some point they should have went back for the money. not everyone though just one maybe two try and sneak back through the black water hideout
One of the many problems with his final plan of getting everyone shooting so they could sneak out to the side was that Dutch failed to realize that everyone was shooting at them and the bullets would follow if they tried to sneak out the side
Honestly there should’ve been an ending where low honor Arthur and Micah just leave In chapter 2, get the money, and both go to Tahiti and leave everyone else. And the rest of the game is picking mangoes.
If you think about it if Dutch let Micah get the money, Micah will leave the gang since he got the money, everybody will still alive since no rat from chapter 3 to chapter 6
Would be cool if we can get the money with cheats. Dutch: yes arthur? Arthur: i got the blackwater money Dutch. Dutch: wa- how? Arthur: well, i turned into god went to blackwater and just took the money.

@@decetutt He wasn't at camp during the O'Driscoll attack coincidentally
@@GNCceo I think he was always working with them why do you think he didn't seem worried in Chapter 1
Do you not realize that it's like 60°-70° at horseshoe overlook and you have Arthur in his winter apparel??? He does get hot and it decreases his health.
It's about 30 to 60 something
He should have gorn though with this plan, then Micah wouldHave either died, got arrested or got the money and everyone goes to Tahiti
Micah would have been no match for those ghost snipers
Leonardo Ruizbut you can visit the Blackwater section without being attacked by ghost snipers. It’s only if you pass the river devide
You missed one outcome. Micah gets the money and never returns.
liontuitt by even then it would be the same thing as if he died we will do different things and probabably successfully get all the cash we needed
Nah Micah will rat out the gang to avoid any possible revenge.@@Skinned_fried_n_cut_up_potato
2:29 is that Kieran screaming? And the O Driscolls torturing him?
Somebody tell me how Dutch still trusts Arthur at the end of Chapter 5 when he is considering a famous chess move and then when Chapter 6 hits, he just calls Arthur a rat.
He should’ve told him. There’s no way it could’ve gone wrong. In one scenario Micah dies getting the money. In another he takes the money for himself and flees which wouldn’t make any difference besides no more Micah. And in another he gets the money and brings to the gang. He can’t go wrong
Alternatively, he gets the money for himself, starts his own gang and becomes a second Colm O'Driscoll to the gang.
chapacoka he could do that with or without the black water money. And if he has all that, why would he want more?
@@doingcigs "Why would he want more?" It's like you've never heard of the concept of greed before. Plus, Micah's not exactly the type of person to do things sensibly. Remember, he killed a lot of people of Strawberry just to get his guns back.
chapacoka Micah isn’t going to just start a rival gang against Dutch he has no reason to come after them and he knows they would hunt him down.
@@doingcigs If he has the money, why wouldn't he? He's a selfish, vicious sadist even at his best. It's left very ambiguous as to when Micah betrayed or started thinking about betraying Dutch and the gang. After all, if you go back to his camp near Strawberry you can see that Micah, for some reason, left behind Dutch's bounty poster and this is still Chapter 2.
should've made a alternate timeline where you had trelawny pay off Arthur bounty and get the blackwater money
I was kinda hoping arthur would say "yeah dutch let's send micah back to blackwater"
Why didn't the gang just send Sadie to Blackwater to get the money
Thomas LaChance not saying she would. But if I was Dutch I wouldn’t trust her at the time. Send a newly widowed woman to retrieve money for a gang that she’s only known a few weeks? If she takes the money and runs there’s really no way for the gang to go after her, being on the run and all.
Micah doesn’t care about the gang he just wants the money and that’s it
What if Micah was being honest and he only sold out the gang because they never went to Blackwater
Remember his nature: there is winning and losing. He wins, the gang loses. It doesn't matter.
Most likely
Arthur didn't betray Dutch, Dutch betrayed Arthur, & Micah fanned the flames.
> Trying to listen to a different conversation
> reverend swason jumps onto you thanking you for saving him and fucking everything up
Going back for it seems like an easy solution?
but what if the money was hidden in like a rearly populated spot
Send one of the girls or trelawny, someone not known to be part of the gang
Send Sadie. Literally the only Gunslinger that wasn’t part of the gang till after the incident.
There’s also a question of trust. What stops them from just taking the money for themselves? Most of the gang members weren’t in the gang for too long to prove their loyalty.
@@cjv8522 but is it better to have your gang split up and die off than to have a 50/50 chance of getting the money?
Sorry but chapter 2 they should have bought a gatteling gun and gone smashed the shit out of black water
I wish we could get a dlc of how the blackwater heist went down
Casually hearing “JACK, CUT THAT SHIT OUT!” in the distance during a deadly serious conversation 😂😂😂
You have to admire his dedication to the blackwater money
Alternate timeline: Dutch uses the 50 grand he has in his chest to get him and the gang to Tahiti
“Oh OrThUR HeLLo”
Bill is just built like a tank...
Dutch: (Gets fooled by Micah for 6 Months).
Also Dutch: i AiN'T A fOoL aRtHuR.
I like to imagine someone that played this game & was really in to it unknowingly meeting the voice actor for Micah & seeing their face when he speaks
listening to micah try and rile up the gang against dutch makes me think he was with the pinkertons from the start, a mole sent to disrupt the gang.
“Stop lingering like a bad smell and speak some sense to him”
😂😂😂
What a pathetic man, Dutch became. He was the real reason the gang feel apart. He may have started the gang, but his leadership is so questionable
By chapter 6, it was Micah's gang, not Dutch's. And that's fucked. If Hosea was around, he woulda stopped that backstabbin fuck in his tracks....damn this game fucked with the feels: hatred, Sorrow, hatred, rage.
Micha pestering Dutch about his money reminds me of Murray from Goodfellas.
imagine if rockstar made story dlc thats takes place after chapter 6 where you play as micah and form a gang and get the money from black water. it can also show when and why Bill and javier left dutch and micah
This game really needs a DLC where the main story has a secret ending where Micah is killed in Strawberry and the Van Der Linh Gang makes it to Tahiti.
And Arthur, Hosea, and Dutch can go fishing all day.
He was trying to get the reward for Dutch. No not the money for Dutch the money dutch's head is worth for himself
Dutch was at least smart about not telling anyone a word about the money.
Did you that Micah is in a movie where he cooks and teaches a human how to cook.
He could have sent Sadie. She didn't have a bounty and the Pinkertons wouldn't have been looking for her
*DUTCHY*
I just realized that Dutch could send Sadie to black water since she wasn’t there during the Ferry Job so she could easily pick up the money and head back to camp.Anyone else agree with this idea
seems like Micah was trying to turn the gang against Dutch and Hosea in the 2nd clip.
2:35 is there a fucking tiger in your base ?
You can just sense it. Dutch ain't just feeling uneased by Arthur... he HATES Arthur.
2:28 Kieran screams
To be fair, they could have sent two people to slip in and take the money.
2:48 I don't know why but I find this part so funny
What does "loyal to the point of constipation" mean?
Lmao, someone was whistling the Sliver Legion of Americka anthem.
I've always wondered why Dutch doesn't just send one of the women to retrieve the hidden money. Or even Trelawney, who was literally walking around in Blackwater during the Sean rescue mission.
Dutch can’t trust anyone
Damn, this video made me think why they didn't come up with any plan to get the money from Blackwater. I mean, there were a lot of opportunities...
It's pretty much all because _Dutch doesn't want to!_
in a way i kind of agree with micah that at some point they should have went back for the money. not everyone though just one maybe two try and sneak back through the black water hideout
One of the many problems with his final plan of getting everyone shooting so they could sneak out to the side was that Dutch failed to realize that everyone was shooting at them and the bullets would follow if they tried to sneak out the side
I reckon if someone told Micah where the money is he take it and run and if someone went with him to get the money he would kill them and run
Honestly there should’ve been an ending where low honor Arthur and Micah just leave In chapter 2, get the money, and both go to Tahiti and leave everyone else. And the rest of the game is picking mangoes.
Wtf arthur and micah he whould kill micah and take the money and go to Tahiti
I REALLY WISH THE NEW CAMPAIGN STUFF FOR RDR2 ON PC IS A WAY TO GET THE BLACKWATER MONEY.
He would have never returned. I figure he used the gang solely for that bank job, hoping to cut and run with the whole take, but never got the chance.
Just more reason that he’s not the snitch.
1:01 is that goory glory man united or battle rhythm
Only hope I guess he was right... if they get back to the money .. they will make it paradise as Dutch was saying...
uploaded on my birthday
I wish Arthur had off'ed Micah, he knew he was a snake from the word go.
maybe Micah was right they should've gone back to blackwater and get the money back and escape after coming down from the mountains
If you think about it if Dutch let Micah get the money, Micah will leave the gang since he got the money, everybody will still alive since no rat from chapter 3 to chapter 6
Dutch can't even say know to Micah
Would be cool if we can get the money with cheats.
Dutch: yes arthur?
Arthur: i got the blackwater money Dutch.
Dutch: wa- how?
Arthur: well, i turned into god went to blackwater and just took the money.
Wait is Arthur taller than dutch?
