Curious how you are gonna play solo. Single player, or two or three-handed. I’m also disappointed that they did not arrange the inner box to accommodate sleeved cards. (“This War of Mine” did the same thing -they lay their cards flat and do not give room for sleeves). They should give some more room for sleeved cards, and store their cards on their sides. The latter prevents the cards from scattering all over the place when the box is moved.
@@RollingSolo True I play solo, and started out as setting-up games as “pure” solo. But as I evolved in my solo playing, I found that since there was no pressure to rush, I actually enjoyed having to manage two or three players at the same time. (Solo, two or three-handed). Makes me think more, and helps me immerse myself into the game and theme more. I prefer immersive games much more. I came across a few extra dollars, so I am looking around for a good immersive solo game. Super considering Solomon Kane, Middara, or KDM. Which would you choose…and why?
Very true! It’s nice to have the option. Should be far more common but I also can understand the logistics of more options being painful depending on how many people pick one or the other. Thanks for watching!
A note about sleeved cards. In a game like this, they are not necessary. They will not suffer wear and tear like MTG or Pokémon or any other duel/battle card game. Also, there are different sized cards, so good luck trying to sleeve them all. Lastly, sleeves are dust magnets, and you'll find yourself taking the cards out to get those annoying specks out... I'll pass on sleeves. This game really doesn't need them...
@RollingSolo yeah, I can see the "protect my collectable" aspect of it, but in reality, most of these games are very well made, and they can take normal wear and tear. Sleeving them makes them more desirable to potential buyers if you plan to sell your game in the future, so I do see a space for it, but to write off a game because you can't sleeve the way you want to is not valid argument in my opinion... I see people only sleeve the cards that get shuffled the most and that makes sense🙂🙂🙂
I agree with you. The vast majority are more than good enough quality to survive. Think I had a couple from SFG that the cards started losing their colour on the edges almost right away. Besides that never an issue!

I feel like solo players have been leaning towards two handed play, true solo and then three handed.
I can understand the sleeved comment for sure! 🙂

That intro music SLAPS! Who is the artist?
Off hand I don’t know actually! Thanks for watching though. 👍🏼
It's a beautiful game, I can't wait to play it. I'm painting ships at the moment.. ;)
I was blown away. It’s a great production!
While the minis expansion is cool, I love that you don't need them!
Games Workshop: take NOTES...

Agreed! I like sleeving certain games I have that I don’t want to ruin or I will shuffle/handle often. I’d say less than 25% get sleeved!
