I just made one and it came out so cute! Dollar tree had the plastic balls - a little smaller so I only chained 5 instead of 7 for ‘drum. Dollar tree also had small red, green, gold balls for stuffing inside! Thank you Mikey for this fast and fun Christmas gift I will be giving in a cute box with ribbon! Oh I used 24/7 cotton green and red!
If you are having trouble with the connection chain-work, you could always attach your yarn to the first point, then make a long chain and thread it through the other points, alternating top, and bottom, then slip ornament in, tighten, and bind-off. Easy-peasy.
Love this. I would have been able to figure out how to do that. Are you going to do a tutorial on the Grinch wreath? Trying to do that to and I keep frogging it. 🙁
I would suggest watching videos of each individual stitch that he uses (double crochet, chain, etc.) and practicing those and also hitting pause between steps. Take your time, there's no rush (: You will get the hang of it if you keep practicing. There are plenty of wonderful teachers on RUclips. I've found BellaCocoa does really well explaining basic stitches and her patterns are lovely as well. Good luck (:
bella coco is a good demonstrator for crochet beginners, but i also like to point out that US and UK terminology differs, so you need to remember that when reading, watching patterns. i think bella uses the UK terminology. but she herself will point that out.
Hi, very nice, but please could you go a bit slower, & also, from time to time give U K terminology ? It is so confusing, we don’t use U S terminology in the Uk. Thank you very much

I don't have this style yarn can you tell me what size yarn I should use or thread
I made these last year to add to my gifts. But to keep the shape, I put a pipe cleaner through it.
I would put popcorn in it and pop the corn.
Is there a left handed video of this?
Is there a pattern for the smaller ornaments?
Probably so but we haven't filmed any. I'm sorry.
I'm new at this wish you could have gone a little slower. do you have another video where I can see this but slower
