for those who would like to read the words: Now, now that the sun hath veil’d his light And bid the world goodnight; To the soft bed my body I dispose, But where shall my soul repose? Dear, dear God, even in Thy arms, And can there be any so sweet security! Then to thy rest, O my soul! And singing, praise the mercy That prolongs thy days Halleluia
Tom Cooley not only has a velvet beautiful voice but the most remarkable beauty of interpretation. He could send chills down my spine singing "Three Little Fishes."
What a magnificent, beautiful performance of this lovely music. The silken resonance of Mr. Cooley's voice combines with his sensitive interpretation to give us an uplifting experience.
What a wonderful performance; superb diction (sometimes an issue with American singers) and shaping of the words and music of a composer who is one of the greatest when it comes to setting English words. In short: outstanding.

David, Hanneke, Thomas, all of you, SO WELL DONE! Such a beautifully sensitive conveying of the text. Thomas, your voice and use of it is simply perfect and the ensemble - superb! Love and hugs and missing singing with you, D&H! --- Jenifer in Texas

I don't believe I've ever heard a tenor sing this (usually a countertenor). Very nice rendition, and nicely turned ornaments!
I sing it often, when attaining a masterclass as tenor (if allowed) ... it's a music I love deeply :)
Absolutely stunning.
Thank you so much!
Absolutely sublime: my deepest respect and admiration.
